  I hired this company to move my furniture across country and I was very unimpressed with the moving company in terms of communication with the customer. The movers themselves were great (in ND), but there was constant miscommunication with my estimator and move coordinator. I changed my move date and website and move coordinator reassured me the date changed. Then I got an alert that the original date was still scheduled. It was a headache and a half to communicate with staff to have them once again update my changed date. I had to call multiple times to staff to get things organized and repeat myself as employees would tell me they didn't know about alterations. The company states that the movers would call the night before to give a window of when they would arrive the next day. This did not happen and when I tried to call no one answered, so we had to wait all day for the movers to arrive (this happened again once I moved to across country). When arrived at my destination the movers themselves complained about moving my furniture the whole time and were very disrespectful. I highly recommend you save yourself the headache and hire a different company if you can!

  We hired AAction Movers to help me move after purchasing a new home. They arrived on time and were extremely polite and did an amazing job. The 3 guys we had were Lynn, Kelly, and Harvey. Those 3 guys were some of the hardest working people I have ever seen. Very professional and just made the over all move so much easier and stress free. Also Dan Baskerville came over to do the quote and was really knowledgeable and when our house closing changed he came up with a plan that worked great for us. Overall great moving company to hire. I will be recommending Aaction Movers for anyone else who needs help with a move and wants it to be stress free!

  We used AAction Movers for a local move in Bismarck. Had problems from the start with poor communication: we booked them over 1 month in advance. I was told they would contact me for final details the day before the move. I finally called them at 3pm after I still received no communication from them. The move was estimated to take place from 8am until 2:30pm. In reality, they did not finish until 10:30pm that night! I even mentioned it was late and would prefer they return tmrw but they said that was not an option. Their workers were stressed by their supervisor's time frame of being done by 2:30pm; 1 mover quit on the job and 1 left by 5pm as he had a " meeting to attend." This left 1 mover @ 5pm so I ended up helping him for several hours. In addition to all of these frustrations, they were not prepared: they borrowed our blankets, pliers, hammer, screw driver and other tools. I have never heard of a moving company being this unprepared and needing to borrow supplies from the customer! As if this wasn't enough, they damaged 6 pieces of our furniture items (scratches, paint completely scraped off, items not assembled back together correctly, screws were stripped, scratched our wood floors and door frames). The worst was damage to a family desk heirloom that has been passed down for generations that is beyond repair. When I reported all issues to Aaction Movers management, we were told we had to pay our invoice in full before submitting a claim. It has been almost 4 weeks after submitting a claim and the only thing that has been done is their claims adjustor came by to snap a few pics of the damage. We even bought a full coverage insurance policy thru them so the damages should have been covered without question. Will update this review if they ever resolve my claim. But for now, 0 stars, take your business elsewhere!! Action Movers should be re-named Poor Action Movers.
