I had very impressive and positive experiences with a number of Officers from both the Crook County Sheriff’s Office and the Prineville Police Department. I am especially appreciative of the long hard work that Sgt. Bill Elliott did in a very difficult situation. He is a wonderful person giving service above and beyond, with empathy and integrity. His professionalism, knowledge, perspective, communication, and eagerness to help was outstanding and noticeably trying to do the right thing. Very appreciative and respectful of who he is and grateful for his help.

Sheriff apparently has an ego problem. Like to manhandled private citizens on federal property where he has no jurisdiction. Huge Huge problem. Maybe it's time for a changing of the guard. Just my opinion

The whole county is a joke. It seems that no laws are enforced here unless the police do not like you. I watch crime after crime happen everyday with no response or action.
