Wow! And NOT in a good way. Does this job look completed?! East Tennessee Movers left before the job was finished!! After we negotiated a price to move a 3 bedroom apartment in one city and a 1 bedroom apartment in another city to a 3rd location, I got attitude and arguments with every single conversation I had with some little fellow named Dean. He acted as if he got his feelings hurt and was sore at me for getting the better of him in negotiations. Literally Every conversation we had, at one point, included him whining about the lower price that HE agreed on. If you could not live with our terms then why did you agree to complete the job at that price?? Well today his guys simply left before finishing the 1 bedroom apartment. They said they were told to leave because it was taking longer than they expected to finish the job!! Dean was a complete baby on the phone, he argued and whined incessantly, barely allowing me time to get a word in. I swear to God, I think he would argue with Moses about boat building!! The pictures are what they left behind. I had to find a local company who by the grace of God had a crew they put together at the last minute. (For a 3 hour minimum fee). They actually earned their pay and finished the job in about an hour. East Tennessee Movers Left With About An Hour's Worth Of Work To Complete The Job!! I made a stupid mistake when I paid them before the job was completed. That's all on me! My wife did not want to use East Tennessee Movers after she first met Dean when he did the initial walk through before negotiating a price. Why did I not listen to her instincts?! I didn't believe that they would turn around and stiff me and leave us literally out in the cold. The weather comment is funny because it started snowing and that's when the young man driving the second truck stated they "had to go, they were done". I believe all along that Dean was determined to "get back at me" for negotiating a lower price, and told this blond haired kid to have the crew pack up and leave early. The other two young men were polite and respectful and seriously did not want to leave before finishing. But the rude young man simply threatened to throw our receipt in my open car if I would not sign it (I did not sign it) I'm serious when I say that I believe Dean was upset with himself for agreeing to take $200 less than he originally wanted, and it showed in EVERY conversation we had, and finally in his ACTIONS. We had agreed to Pay Cash for a small discount. What kind of jerk agrees on a price in negotiations and then fails to honor the agreement?! Dean, that's who! Beware people! These folks running East Tennessee Movers are not honorable. They left before the job was done! What more do I have to say? PS I'm fairly certain that Dean will respond to this message by whining that we were not ready and were still packing when he first showed up (he came over a day early-so they could get a jump on the job), But they were loading some of the heavy furniture that day and we worked on the small boxable items and in no way did we slow them down! It was a big job, that's why we wanted, but failed, to hire 'experts' Also, we helped Unload the truck because it was taking so long! Apparently they don't possess the vision or aptitude necessary to properly plan and execute a big job. People, you have been warned!

THE ONLY MOVING COMPANY TO TRUST! We just recently moved from Charlotte to Johnson City and hired this team to move us. We had a massive move with over 24,000 pounds of furniture and very expensive furnishings that some companies would not adequately insure. I didn't get jerked around on pricing, they were fair, accurate and honest. Their team, professional, respectful, trustworthy and treated our furniture and belongings like gold. Not a single item was broken, which was a miracle considering the China, stemware and furnishings we had. They showed up on time, had a game plan and were organized and efficient. These people were honestly amazing. We looked at United Van lines, Atlas and numerous moving companies and I am so very glad we chose them. If you want people you can trust in your home with your valuables, this is the only choice. We will never use another company other than East Tn Movers!

Moved about 20 items from our house in TN to son's home in Boston area. They picked up and delivered everything there with no damage and were very personalized. Had several pieces that were family heirlooms including s Grandfather clock and they took extra care to make sure everything arrived in perfect condition. We have used East TN Movers for many years and have never had any problems. They are very carefull with your property and very personable! It felt good to work with a local moving company instead of some national branded one. East TN Movers gives you the personal attention you are looking for!
