  I needed several pieces of very heavy furniture moved with only 2 days notice and Stuart at English Gents was the first to respond. We had a tight deadline on moving day and had to complete the job by a specific time. Stuart arrived on time, did a quick assessment of the job and determined that he could meet our deadline. Despite the limited time frame, Stuart and his colleague were able to get everything done seamlessly. These guys are super strong!! They didn't seem rushed and were extremely respectful of our home and our furniture. No scratches, dings or scuffs anywhere. I am very grateful that they were available. I would hire them again in a minute! Oh, one last thing - their prices are very reasonable. Especially considering how much physical labor is involved in moving.

  Stuart and his moving company really knocked it out of the park in this one! I had a tricky move (thankfully, I only move once every couple of decades) — deciding to forgo the big city for a town in the hills of Marin (Fairfax). The house is beautiful, but it is down a steep, curvy 1,000’ driveway with an ominous “Trucks Not Recommended Past this Point” sign at top. So intimidating was the sign that other companies were quoting me twice to treble what Stuart said the job would cost (I sent all photos and video so I wouldn’t be surprised later on). In fact, he was so reasonably priced that I thought there might be a catch. There wasn’t: his crew showed up on time; was extremely careful with my possessions and wouldn’t leave until I was totally satisfied (Stuart even had excellent placement and design suggestions for where to put the furniture - far better than my feeble ideas). What more can you ask for? 5 stars without hesitation!
