  I've been renting from New Hartford Self Storage for a few years now and could not be more satisfied. The indoor storage facility is climate controlled and is always clean. Also, the professionals who work there are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. I just recently started renting an additional unit from them because I wouldn't trust any other place with my belongings!

  I rented a U-Haul truck and was given a faulty truck. While trying to resolve the issue I was given all excuses and a lot of attitude. The lady in the office was nice but the guy who looked at the truck was very unprofessional. All he did was give me a lot of attitude and take no ownership for having a truck with a back door that doesn't shut. Raising his voice to me, talking down to me, just disrespectful to me. "But it's Monday morning, you can't expect me to know every little problem.". That's what he told me. Do your job, man. I recommend renting your U-Haul elsewhere.

  Mr. Kowalski, I very much appreciate your leaving us a review. Both good reviews and bad reviews are pertinent to both running our business the best we can and learning how we can improve going forward. I appreciate your kind words about our office employees, as we do try our best to make the moving process as easy as possible for our customers and we take great pride in that. I'm also very apologetic for the manner in which you felt you were addressed by the secondary employee, this situation should have been handled more professionally. Unfortunately, in this instance, the vehicle you were scheduled to rent was a rotational vehicle and not one of our regular on site rental trucks. The vehicle was dropped off the night prior by another U-Haul dealer and we were not made aware of the back gate issues at the time of drop off. This type of repair is only able to be completed at a U-Haul certified repair shop and had we known of the issue we most certainly would have found other arrangements for your rental. This could and should have been explained to you in a much more professional manner and for that, I do apologize. I hope that you would consider giving us another chance in the future to reassure you that this is not how we handle business on a regular basis and is not the type of customer service we take pride in.
