  These movers are the best! I would recommend Not a Hobby Movers to anyone. They are efficient and courteous. They went above and beyond to make sure my move went smoothly. They got me moved faster then what was originally estimated and helped me move things around my new place multiple times until I was happy with where things were placed and boxes were stacked. Thanks again Not A Hobby Movers!!! You guys rock! Not a Hobby Moving - Austin Moving Company will get the job done RIGHT!

  I waited until a few days before my 12/21 move to look for movers. I called several companies based on a quick Google search. Not a Hobby Moving - Austin Moving Company was the most responsive, had the best availability given the time frame and had the most reasonable rates. I received a call in the days prior to confirm last minute details. On the morning of, the movers called with a more specific arrival time – and again when they were driving over. Their team arrived at the time and were extremely professional, trustworthy, down to earth, personable and easy to work with. As a single female moving alone, I felt completely comfortable throughout the entire process and am so grateful to have worked with them. They were incredibly helpful, fast moving and extra cautious in handling. I also really appreciate how thorough they were with everything from beginning to end. The paperwork, explanation of the process, communicating, elevator issues, and everything else. My apartment complex has extremely minimal parking so moving from the second floor via elevator is a challenge to start. Unfortunately, we also encountered unfriendly neighbors who rudely made comments about holding the elevator (How else do you get furniture in?) I have no idea how they were able to remain professional, but they handled the entire situation with grace and poise. I relocated to a first floor home, so unloading was a much faster process. The movers were quick and efficient. They were cautious in handling everything, and were attentive to my needs (making sure everything placed where intended, disassembling and reassembling multiple pieces of furniture). They did a walk through and confirmed all questions were answered and work was complete. A few days later I received a follow up call from the company regarding the move. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT A HOBBY MOVING COMPANY! I’m truly so happy I was able to find such reliable, friendly, and efficient movers in such a short time frame. I will definitely use for my next move anywhere in Austin. (hopefully not too soon) 😁

  We moved into our new house today and these three gentlemen (Conor, Ryan and Corey) from ‘Not a hobby Moving company’ helped us make that possible. They made it seem so easy. They came on the scheduled time, were professional , extremely responsive to our needs and their services was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them for your moving needs 😊
