  Great service from start to finish. Pete was great making the arrangements and the crates and packing materials were delivered as expected and in great shape. On move day the team was on time, friendly and capable. Plus, who wouldn’t LOVE the pink crates and the name, making light of a challenging process. Thank you Piece of Cake for lightening my load with a stress free experience.

  Truly amazed at the quality of service of this company. My preferred movers had quoted me $700 more than these guys. I picked Piece of Cake because their pricing was one of the most competitive on the market and they had the quickest ETA for long distance moves (1-14 days). Not having heard of them before, I carefully read reviews. I was a little worried because of one negative review on a long distance move that hadn't gone so well. Never have I come across such an outsanding service, across any industry: the reps and customer success teams were extremely responsive, from quoting to post-move. In 3 days, they quoted me, scheduled the pick up, emptied my storage unit, loaded up my items into a truck. The next day, the truck was on its way out of NY, arriving in Austin 3 days later. Total long distance move: 4 days. Never seen such perfect logistics! All throughout, I received emails, phone calls, pictures of my emptied storage, wrapped and then loaded items. The team was pro actively providing status updates on my move. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Piece of Cake moving. I truly never would have expected such an exceptional quality of service (of the move itself + customer relationship). Moving can be stressful and these guys made my long distance move a total breeze. 200% recommend this moving company, no reservations given.

  We had a fantastic experience with a local move using Piece of Cake. Our first impression was very strong, with a representative (Mike) coming to the apartment in person to give us an estimate (vs. other companies that did it by phone). The result is that the estimate was much more accurate and therefore significantly lower than other companies we considered, even with the rental of plastic bins. The day of the move was very smooth and efficient. The movers showed up on time, packed up our kitchen with care (nothing broken!), and moved everything into the truck very carefully. We have several very valuable pieces of furniture and artwork and all of it was handled with the utmost sensitivity. Even with an intermediate stop at our storage unit, the whole production took a lot less time than we predicted. Most of all, all three movers were super friendly and thoughtful. They were working very hard but always had a smile on their faces and a kind word to say. Simpler the nicest movers I have ever dealt with in 30 years of living and moving in NYC. Huge shout out to Smile (not sure if I'm spelling that right, but the name is apt!) and his crew. Just lovely guys. Same is true of everyone else we dealt with at the company. We will definitely be using Piece of Cake when we move again in 9 months or so.
