  PODS does not provide clarity about the need to schedule EVERY element of a move separately, which meant that what should have been a two week experience turned into over a month-long odyssey, with multiple calls to associates. The POD was not picked up when expected, delaying its initial transit by 3 to 4 days, then sat for over a week in a FL warehouse when we though it was in transit. There was a lack of clarity about when it would be available at the tail end, making it impossible to engage professional movers on the unloading day. I signed up for text updates, none came. Scheduling is actually impossible through the website, calls were always required. Contradictory information about billing was given by different associates, and a family heirloom was damaged in transit. I cannot stress enough how much one should avoid using this business. And an update: PODS insurance company of course denied the claim for the heirloom that was damaged. And sent it just before Christmas. How can this awful company get zero stars, Google? Really. I have truly never had a worse experience with any company of any sort.

  This was the worst part of the moving experience. The POD was not the size that was promised. We immediately called to have it corrected and the only solution offered was to order another POD for $600 additional dollars. When we said that was not a reasonable solution and that we would need to find another storage solution that met the original promise, we had to file a claim just to have our money refunded, despite never having used the POD and reporting the problem within 5 minutes of the delivery. Paying for a service that underdelivers and then asks for another $600 to correct their issue only compounds the stress of moving.

  Very easy company to work with. Friendly drivers. I like the fact that you receive notification before delivery and pick up. The price was fair.
