  We moved with Royal star movers in July 2021. They packed everything and moved it to their so called storage, which was an open fenced area. When we received our belongings they were soaked with water, furniture, clothing, antiques, everything. Most of the original boxes were gone and replaced with large boxes. They said we insured and we were not. So far we have spent over 30 k to replace our belongings almost a year later. All of our Antiques are ruined. They lied about the moving cost and only take cash. Beware people, these guys are crooks and should be stopped.

  Avoid this company at all costs! We were overcharged by $2k. Took weeks to get them to admit it. Driver refused to deliver our items until we paid it (cash only). He said he would dump our stuff in storage & leave it there if we didn’t give him the money that day. Company said we had to pay it & then file an insurance claim to try to get a refund (illegal & will be reported). We had a large animal house made from a thick metal shelving unit that we were charged extra for in order to not stack anything on it. The top is caved in, each shelf was caved in, they took the bottom shelf off & “lost” it, bent the 4 thick bottom metal bars completely under the unit & bent a top bar which destroyed it & cannot be repaired, took pieces off & reattached them where they didn’t go, lost pieces, etc. Delivered a huge dresser that we told them was not ours that they refused to take back (& likely charged us for). Moving company lied to my husband & said I told them it was ours after I had to beg the drivers for an hour to at least move it out to the curb. Hung up on my husband when informed he was recording conversations. Boxes were smashed, other things destroyed. They delivered our items 3 weeks after they told us it would be delivered. No communication at all. Got a different story every time we called. We will be reporting them everywhere possible & are looking into legal action. Also avoid Moving Pro US, as they are the ones we hired who then hired this company. We didn’t know they hired Royal Star until they showed up at our house. If we had time to read reviews, we never would have let them touch our stuff. Absolute worst experience with a company I have ever had. They lie, steal, & lose or destroy your belongings after overcharging you. Absolute criminals & should not be in business!

  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I have never had a more disappointing, frustrating, incompetent, and fraudulent experience in my entire life. First they show up and all of a sudden the real price became nearly double the estimate even though the list of furniture we gave them did not change. They packed the truck loosely even though they charged by cubic foot. When we signed the contract, we told them we could only sign if they could guarantee delivery on a specific date, due to our building rules. They agreed and wrote it on the contract. They did not show up until over three weeks later. Meanwhile we are sleeping on an air mattress with zero furniture. But the incompetence gets even worse!! They promise multiple days of delivery and never show up. They go multiple days in a row without picking up the phone or calling back. AND when they showed up they refused to help my husband bring the furniture into our actual apartment. The entire experience, from start to finish, was a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT HIRE THEM. I will be reporting them to BBB, Channel 7 News (who is doing investigative journalism stories on the topic of moving scams), the consumer protection department in the Colorado Attorney General's Office, and any other public facing entity I can find to expose their fraudulent and abusive business practices.
