  Worst movers ever! Do not use. Showed up over an hour late. Stood around more then moving anything. Head mover was mean to the other guys and cursed every other word. When he did help was rough with my boxes and furniture. Scratched my floors and almost broke my sliding door. Multiple things in boxes broken, box missing and rips under my mattress. When I called to complain to the manger he made excuses and said he would tell the owner and never heard back from them.

  About two weeks ago, my mother contacted Tiger Movers about our move from Perth Amboy to Piscataway and was quoted $505. We told them every piece of furniture we had and 15-20 boxes/storage bags. Yesterday, they arrived to our house and the experience was horrible from the beginning. First, the main mover Bill told my mother that he did not think she was Black because of her name. He then proceeded to tell my father that he can tell when people have money by telling people what the price is going to be. We were quoted $505 and by the time they finished putting our stuff on the truck, he told us it would be almost $1,000. Of course we were shocked and upset because we were not expecting to pay that much money. He suggested we call Alex and I proceeded to call. He told me that I am unable to call because I’m not old enough and I’m not a “pit bull” (I have two degrees both in legal related studies) so I absolutely know how to be assertive. Because we told him that we were not expecting to pay so much, he left some of our furniture in our old house (the same furniture we told them about in the beginning) and majority of our storage boxes and bags. After speaking to Alex (who had a very nasty disposition from the start), he lowered the price to $644 if they were to be done unloading in an hour. After getting out to the new house in Piscataway, my mother gave him $530 in cash and had to go to the bank for the rest. He refused to finish unloading until we came back which then caused him to go over the hour. We gave him the balance and they then unloaded the truck. When we got the receipt, he put up there that they “gave” us a free 30 mins. I have had a couple of negative experiences with moving companies, but this is the worst. From racially charged statements to other inappropriate comments, if you can avoid this company please do. They will quote you one price and give you another once they get your stuff. Now I have to pay someone to help me finish moving the stuff that I asked them to move. The absolute worst.

  Never ever use TigerMovers service, initially they give a decent quote to impress the customer. There are bunch of hidden charges they will add later. I got my quote as $430 and at the end they gave a bill of $780, until you don't pay they will not start unloading your stuff. They never disclose the hidden prices they add, i asked and it ends up with the freaking agreement papers you have signed during the movement, during that time in a rush the customer will sing all the papers who the hell has time to read all the terms. I dont want to give a Star rating also, dont use the service.
