  My wife and I moved to Jasper from Chattanooga... Victoria was super with suggestions and eventually a couple of rentals that went without a hitch. We stopped using U-Haul in our old city but our confidence in the service we got here in Jasper brought us back as loyal customers! Which reminds me... I need to call Victoria and reserve a trailer... !

  My experience with Victoria was unfortunate. I stopped in to sell back extra boxes I had received when ordering boxes online. I went into the store to make sure they could buy them back. Victoria said yes and then proceeded to ask many questions about the type and condition of boxes. I suggested she follow me to see the boxes herself. Maybe I caught her at a bad time but her demeanor made me feel like I was bothering her and that she didn’t want to buy boxes back. One of the reasons I bought boxes online from u-haul was because they buy back unused materials. Once I wheeled the boxes inside Victoria told me she needed the ‘contract number’. I struggled to find the receipt in the numerous u-haul emails and I tried to find it via my account on the website. She kept saying she needed the contract number. I had the bill of lading and my order number. Nope, she still couldn’t refund the boxes. I asked her to look up the contract number via my order number but she made no effort to help me, the customer, find a contract number that was a u-haul internal identifier. This all took about 45 minutes to no avail. Another customer even suggested she look up my info in the system but she was dismissive and said she couldn’t. Victoria seemed bothered by the whole interaction. I became frustrated, and told her that, she just kept repeating that she needed the contract number. I finally said to forget it! I wheeled out my boxes and will return them to a different site. What should have been an easy interaction became a situation of frustration and a very negative customer experience. Had Victoria led with an attitude of helpfulness this situation could have been avoided and I would not have written this negative review.

  This uhaul service location was wonderful. The inside of the store was clean and well organized. Wanted a 10', none were available So got the 15'. Was able to get all of our things moved within the day, and was able to return the truck before the store closed. Grateful they are open on Sundays, or else we'd be moving on a colder day. Kallen Painter was awesome. He was professional with the customers ahead of me. And he was patient with my questions and my hoarse voice. Explained the after hours drop off if I would have needed it. When we returned the truck, he did a quick and professional check of the truck. I kept within the mileage I initially said I may need, and was charged appropriately. If you want friendly, honest, and professional, go here for your moving needs!
