  Beware!! I DO NOT recommend A-1 All State Movers! The service is definitely NOT A-1 by any means. I used them to move me from a 2bd room townhome to a 1bd room apartment which was less than 10miles apart in November. My townhome was packed and everything was ready to go when they arrived except my bed which needed to be disassembled. The second bedroom had no furniture and was practically empty other than a few tubs. It took 6hrs for them to move me less than 10miles and a 15min drive. I have never experienced this before with other companies. It has never taken over 3hrs to move in the past but this company seems to move slowly to make more money! They sent 3 guys but one of them just stands around and gives instructions only. The other 2 movers didn’t speak much English so that also created a challenge. They didn’t reassemble my bed correctly and they turned my dresser upside down to move it. This caused some of the clothing left inside to fall out so now 2 of the drawers won’t even close because clothing is stuck behind them which I can’t reach! I called Marlon and explained what happened and sent photos and he assured me they would come back out to make it right! It’s been 3 months and I paid $623 and no one ever showed up or followed back up with me! This company has horrible customer service and robs you blind by stalling during the move! They contract your move out to another company! Horrible

  We hired A1 Allstate Movers to move us into our new home and could not have been happier with the experience. Movers were professional and careful with our stuff. They worked very efficiently. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a move.

  I have used this moving service over the past 10 years for several moves and even referred them to many people with great service. I recently used them for a move and was not able to secure the normal crew I have used in the past. This was by far the WORST move I have ever encountered. First they were extremely late, next they showed up with another man and asked if I would like to add an additional $25 an hour for this person as it would speed up the move. I agreed. This crew was extremely slow, stood around, talked a lot. I paid double what I have normally ever paid with them. I literally moved 10 minutes down the road. The extra gentleman they brought smelled of alcohol. I had them just leave everything in the garage at the new home because just loading up the truck from a 3 bedroom home took them over 5 hours. Boxes were packed and ready by the door, my husband has disassembled the furniture and unmounted the T.V.'s. I have made several follow-up calls to see how they will resolve this and all I get is, "I still have to follow-up with the owner"! Professionalism and service have gone way down!!
