Absolute clown show! They were supposed to handle the home delivery of my mattress foundation. I received a notification that it arrived at the warehouse. I waited three days and was never contacted. I check the tracking and it shows that they attempted to make contact but an "incorrect phone number/e-mail address was provided." I called them to find out the status and they had accidentally reversed two of the numbers in my phone number. I schedule the delivery for the following Wednesday. They tell me the delivery window is between 9AM-5PM. Yes, an all-day delivery window. I get a message on Tuesday saying my item is out for delivery despite having scheduled the delivery for Wednesday. I check the tracking and it shows that it's out for delivery. I try to call A1 and no one answers. No one comes. Wednesday arrives. I call in the morning and someone tells me that it was delivered last Friday. Then they realize they mixed up the reference number. They assure me it will be delivered that day and I'll receive a call an hour before delivery. 3:30PM rolls around and I haven't received a call. I call them to ensure the delivery is happening, they forward me to a voicemail. I call back, they take my info and tell me they'll call me right back. 4PM rolls around. I haven't received a call back. I call them and they tell me the driver said he called me and I didn't answer. I assure them that no one attempted to call me and they ask me to take down the driver's contact information to call him. As I'm writing down the number, the driver Victor calls and tells me that he "broke down" and clarifies that his tall gate broke but he's only 20 min away. I call back A1 and tell them that their driver claims he's broken down and ask them to ensure the delivery occurs. Victor calls me back wanting to know why I just told the office he wouldn't complete the delivery. I explain to him that I relayed what he said and then he tells me he has to make two other deliveries 45 min away from me before he can drop off my box spring. Victor says he can't give me an ETA because he can't predict traffic. Sounds like someone's trying to rack up some extra overtime pay! Here I am at almost 7:00PM. No one has contacted me and no one has delivered my box spring. Sound like a clown show yet? It is. Do yourself a favor and avoid A-1 Freeman. Not worth the hassle. I'm going to be reporting the ordeal to Tempurpedic. They need to find a different home delivery option. UPDATE: I changed my initial 1-star rating to a 4-star rating. I received a call from Mark Waller, the General Manager, a day after I left the review. He apologized for the mistakes and explained that they were dealing with a lot of logistical issues as a result of the unusual snowstorm that had shut down most of commerce within Texas, which is understandable. He addressed the situation internally, and took steps to make the situation right with me. I appreciated the prompt response and attention he provided. Hopefully you won't have a similar experience, but if you do, ask to speak with the general manager.

      Response from the owner

Hi David....Thank you for the feedback. As you can imagine, we have been trying to get caught back up following the winter storm and have been very busy the last week and a half as a result. I know that this doesn't make up for the confusion that you encountered, and we do sincerely apologize for the frustration that we caused. Your comments have been escalated to the General Manager of the location, and he is looking into it further. Thank you for your grace and patience with us.

We had a great experience with A-1 Freeman for our move from Fort Worth to Oklahoma City. Estimator, packers, and moving crew were all courteous and did an excellent job. The office staff kept us informed every step of the way, and worked with us to extend our storage time while we were searching for a new home. We will definitely use them again!

      Response from the owner

Thank you for the great feedback and your business!

We were very happy with our experience with this group. They were not the cheapest of the three quotes we got (they were in the middle), but I felt most comfortable in my initial conversations and correspondence that they understood our needs and would work with us to get a quote that worked. The team - Warren and Dee - that packed and moved our house were great - prompt, communicated well, and very nice - we enjoyed having them around which isn't always the case in a move. The delivery was well within the window given to us (much earlier than we expected actually). Very satisfied!

      Response from the owner

Sarah, reviews like this give us motivation and help us ensure we provide high-quality moving services. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything additional we can do for you.
