  I called a few different moving companies and the only two that was ready to help us was Central Van Lines, and a small moving company called A1 Movers. We went with A1 movers because they was closer and almost HALF! the price of the other company. They was polite and very friendly. They was fast! Got us “a 2 bedroom home” moved from Lewisburg WV to Alderson wv in just 6 hours! They put the beds back up for us and everything. I have moved about 5 to 6 times in the past 12 years and this is by far the best company we’ve used. Affordable, Careful with expensive furniture, always smiling, and hard workers. The only thing that I noticed was they rented a truck from uhaul. They are a small business so they don’t have their own truck yet. But that was completely fine with us. They rented the truck themselves and took care of everything! They worked so good, we even tipped them and fed them Lunch! Thank you guys so much!

  DO NOT USE! The pickup was okay although they used a UHaul and had no supplies. We were moving from WV to NY and the delivery experience was dreadful. Originally planned to be delivered on Wednesday but movers were late and said 7am on Thursday. We called 25 times with no answer. At noon we began calling local WV police and the Attorney General to file a complaint. Received a call back from the police that a parole office was able to contact one of the movers and they would be at our new house soon. When they arrived the furniture was scratched and dented and the parolee dropped two bags of meth in our house then left never to return after we called NY police. More than 6 hours later and after helping move several large items, everything was inside.

  Lesson learned the hard way.... make sure a business is licensed and bonded before hiring them. Damaged my furniture, unresponsive to calls and texts, drugs found on my floor, among a multitude of other issues. This company caused so much undue stress. I would recommend finding another “business” to move you because this one is a mess.

  The employees who worked for you lovely gentleman that day was fired and placed on the “do not hire” list. Although furniture was damaged, A1 Mover’s gave a full refund. A1 Mover’s is a licensed company. We had a few bad workers.
