  We used A1A twice now and the first time went very smoothly while the second round was a total NIGHTMARE! Ignore previous positive reviews, like the one I gave two years ago. They have changed as a company, and it’s all gone downhill! Trust me, pay a little more elsewhere for better movers. But if you want to consider A1A Movers, consider my recent experience experience in December of 2021: If you want to have your furniture missing, then delivered broken, you should hire A1A Movers. If you want to be up-charged for monthly storage without your knowledge, you should hire A1A Movers. If you want to be charged a WHOLE month of storage because they fail to communicate they don’t prorate storage fees, you should hire A1A Movers. As result, if you want to be charged $300 for ONE EXTRA DAY of storage, you should hire A1A Movers. If you want a rude and unforgiving representative, speak to Steffany. She will tell you that your stuff will get sold to auction unless you pay them the extra storage charges they force upon you. If you want to be forced to illegally sign a document that states “We have checked all items listed and numbered 1 to inclusive and acknowledge that this is a true and complete list of goods tendered and of the state of the goods received”, before they even show you your items on the truck, you should hire A1A Movers. If you want an unresponsive company who has repeatedly ignores claims for reimbursement of damages, you should definitely hire A1A Movers!

  I never had to move my stuff cross-country before, so I didn't know what to expect. I read reviews about many different moving companies beforehand, and A1a movers seemed to have the better ones. The movers were fast, and loaded their truck in a timely matter. They did make sure that everything was wrapped in blankets. Some boxes were a little crushed, but nothing was damaged inside. The overall price was fair. It was a little higher than I was quoted at first, but I realize that was because I decided to load more things into the truck. The final price does depend on the weight of the load you are shipping. I kept in contact with the customer service, which helped relieve my mind a little. They kept me up-to-date about the timeline. Overall I would definitely use them again if I moved cross-country. I would recommend A1a movers for your next move.

  We were pleased with the service from A1A Movers! HIGHLY recommend this company! They were careful with moving our furniture, wrapping them in blankets and stretch wrap. They efficiently moved everything out of our old apartment and to our new apartment on the second-floor in just over two-hours. The crew was also lovely and patient while we asked them to move some of the furniture around in the new apartment because we couldn't decide where to put them.
