  We were being moved by my husband’s company from DC to Alabama. Our package included packing and unpacking service. Awesome, right? Nope. While Shawn (our driver) was friendly and great, the actual packers and unpackers were terrible. First, they didn’t wear masks. We are all vaccinated but still. Next? They are EXTREMELY paper heavy. Like, they wrapped copy paper in 5 sheets of paper….plastic cups in tons of paper…EMPTY BOXES in paper! The boxes we do have to unpack are so full of freaking paper! The packing was ok…the unpacking…terrible. They are supposed to take things out and place them neatly on a flat surface. As you can see by the pictures, our things were just tossed into a corner in piles. We feel so disrespected! Shoes, clothes, books, lotions…just thrown in a pile. Rooms mixed up even though I clearly told them where things go. Not to mention broken furniture. My coffee table was only 2 year old. Destroyed. The legs were literally pulled off with the screws. I will never use unpack/pack service again and I absolutely not recommend nor use Alexander either. THEY ACTUALLY PACKED AND BROUGHT TRASH BAGS FULL OF TRASH TO THE NEW PLACE! TRASH BAGS!

  We used Alexander’s moving this year. There are several different avenues of people who we worked with. From the person who gave us a quote at home, the home office admin and the actual packers/movers… I will say the packing and delivery people (Antonio and Mailman) were absolutely amazing! If it weren’t for them and the absolute incredible service they gave our family… the rating would be much lower and my confidence in this company would not be where it is. We were given boxes to pack our own things which was kind. But the major lack of expertise on sending proper quotes in a timely manor was a bit messy. Eventually, because we stayed on them about making sure we had the proper quote signed, everything turned out okay but no one wanted to take responsibility for the lack of due diligence. Just a blaming system of how busy they were…. If I hadn’t had Antonio’s contact, I don’t believe we would have gone as smoothly as it went!

  The people in the office are very unorganized. I was bring in a shipment for SIT and when i got here this morning the lady in the office said i never called her about this shipment the proceeded to tell me i gave her the wromg customer's name and reg number. Then tried to tell me i told her I'd be at their warehouse on Friday after i told her yesterday that the shipmwnt had to be off my truck by today. The warehouse men our very friendly and understanding. It was a great pleasure to work with the gentlemen in the warehouse. They are fast and Efficient.
