  Refuse to pay full amount for being 32 days late. Picked up household in Allied Truck and finally delivered 32 days later, after promising 8 day delivery, and arrived like this on a cross country move. When asked about the problem, they stated that they have done all they will do, as stated on page 68 of the contract I never received. And of course I had to pay full amount for the move before they would deliver the boxes on the flatbed.

  Well I will be the odd man out here, and unsure now if the credit goes to Allied "but" with everyone they have outsourced to move me... I have moved a half dozen times over the course of six years, my company does pay for their service but it is my belongings they're packing so, I have only received damage for the particle board materials. I have never had the movers be late, as a matter of fact they're usually early, faster, and nearly all but one most friendly. This review is after several uses of their services, I am just now opening boxes that have moved multiple coasts, multiple state lines (TN-WA-FL-IA) and never opened them, the boxes were packed with glass dishes and not a single one broken. I was kinda expecting a Jim Carrey HPS package when I'd open it but to my surprise everything has been intact. I'd give Allied at least a four star rating for their boxes, trucks, and contractors that they outsource to.

  Initially we had a great experience until moving day when our walls and door were damaged by the inexperienced movers that Allied outsourced. This was rectified fairly easily and payment was taken care of on a very timely basis. When our furniture arrived in Ft. Lauderdale we had to file a claim for 5 items one of which was our grand piano. It arrived with broken keys, scratched, and wood missing from the side panel. When the outsourced movers set up the piano, they put the legs on incorrectly, threw the pedal supports in the case and left the keys in terrible condition. We asked for a minimum of $1,900 to get the piano put back together which is nothing considering that it is a $25,000 investment. To date, we received a letter telling us that they will only give us $1,100 for the repair and ignored my request for a $300 piano technician fee to assess the damage. DO NOT use this company if you are considering moving any fine musical instrument. It has now been 3 months since our move, the piano is sitting crooked in the corner of the room and cannot be played because of the missing keys. We have received the claim for telling us what they will fix, but no payment has ever been received. I'm so disappointed that I don't know where to turn other than legally.
