This review is for Coleman Allied. This was the worst moving experience ever. I would have rather used a uhaul and made 2 trips from Omaha, NE to Big Rapids, MI. For starters my belongings arrived 13 days after the scheduled delivery date. They couldn't hit the range of dates that was originally set and agreed upon. They were apparently having issues at one point with their phones or their internet and I could not get a response from anybody from their company for about 5 days on when I would receive my items. Any time I called one of their 1800 numbers the operator or person answering the phone was very unfriendly. Not only that upon arrival of my items you could definitley tell they did not take care of the items. I have a brand new bedroom set (about a year old) that was scratched and gouged up, 2 of my living room shelves were ruined (one of them the individual shelfs were wrapped and was dropped. When I pulled the plastic wrap off, the edging of the shelfs fell apart and the shelfs were cracked. The other shelf was left in some water and became water logged and damaged. Boxes with dinner plates, wine glasses, shot glasses, and glass cups were shattered and blown apart (these boxes were clearly labeled fragile and had all items listed on them so they should have known what the words "fragile" or "glass" means. Other cardboard boxes looked like they were left outside in a rain storm by the way they were falling apart when they unloaded the truck. Other boxes and items were soaked in oil somehow. When the truck driver arrived to the destination and he opened the door to the semi (which was not the vehicle which my belongings were originally loaded into) everything was stacked from the floor to the ceiling. I noticed boxes were crushed, plastic totes were stacked so high and the lids were busted because they stacked everything on top of eachother. If you value your belongings and you want to be treated like a true customer do not use this company. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere or get a rental yourself and pack the truck yourself. I will be reaching out to the company tomorrow (Monday November 16) to file a late claim and damage claims. I was told I multiple times I will be receiving $100 per day my stuff was late which is 13 days. So $1300 plus damages. If I could, I would rate this 0 out of 5 stars but I have to click at least one to post this.

I used this company a year ago for a move from Nebraska to Colorado, the movers lost some kitchen items and some other miscellaneous items. The items were packed with another customer's items. A claim was filed but denied because I signed a poorly hand written bill of lading. Ever hear of computers? Couldn't print this out so it's readable? Forced to sign this while raining at the storage facility. Stay away from this company, use someone more professional.

I have moved 26 times in my life and my experience with Allied Van Lines now is rated my best experience. Well defined processes with caring professionals were apparent from the start. Rod Turner in Omaha began the process with an in-home assessment. Wonderful depth of experience to guide us. The Move Coordinator, Tam Theis was customer focused always sensitive to unexpected adjustments. The packers took great care and moved efficiently. Alex (driver) with the Omaha NE and Flat Rock NC crews exercised the absolute best care in safeguarding our household goods. Again, the Allied Van line experience was top notch and I provide my highest recommendation.
