  Alters moved me and my husband into our first home 3 years ago and have done some subsequent work from then until now for us (moved some larger pieces in/our of our home). They were on time (if not a bit early if I remember correctly) and so polite..the whole staff! I think that’s a nice unexpected touch, that they were all so friendly and holding polite conversation throughout he day. A genuine interest in our new life/Home. John was VERY meticulous when handling our belongings and the staff followed suit. We really appreciated the extra care taken to not leave a scratch on even the seemingly unimportant items. I also appreciated that John and his wife have always given me realistic expectations concerning the time a move/job may take and an estimate. I have had companies in the past give me one estimate and then raise the price exponentially after doing the work but Alters are actually HONEST, which is a nice change for me!! Would highly recommend to anyone needing moving services big or small...these folks will take excellent care of your belongings with a smile! Very refreshing!

  I have worked along side this company for many years. They have done everything as far as assist in selling our home, finding a new one. Moving several times & I must add I had a lot of stuff to move. They have done clean outs for my wife and I and helped guided us when we had to make some tough decisions on selling and donating items we no longer needed throughout our moves. This company was on time, paid close attention to detail and most of all trust worthy. It’s tough trusting people and John and Gayle always made us feel comfortable with them handling some of our most delicate valuables. Would refer them out anytime!!

  This company went above and beyond to help our family out. We had to clean out my parents' house and move everything from Ohio to Michigan. Not knowing anyone in Ohio I contacted them and they agreed to make the 4 hour trip (one way)and help us. They worked long and hard but they got the job done. They packed everything we needed, helped us make choices in what might be worth hauling back, and held to their original quote for services. Valuables were carefully and thoughtfully packaged and secure. I hope I never have to experience anything as monumental as that move, but everything arrived safely and they were kind enough to deliver items to 3 various family members so I would not have to. I can not thank them enough.
