  We hired American Movers 361 to move us out of our home & into storage facilities in Dec, when our home sold. We requested 3 guys & they did a great job. So when our new home was ready, I gave them 2.5 weeks notice that I would need 3 guys to move us from storage into our home & it was confirmed that we were good to go. This morning, only 2 guys show up. I asked the lead guy, why there were only 2 when I asked for 3. He says no one wanted to work today. Well, I had spoken with Amanda just an hour earlier & she said nothing about that. So, as mentioned, 2 guys show up to move our furniture, which for reference I will say had filled a 2400sqft home. 1 of those guys had no idea what he was doing. Did more talking than moving. I worked circles around him & I’m a 53 year old woman. I call and let Amanda know that we have an issue with how this is going. She tells me that she’s on the way with help. Drive from Corpus to Aransas Pass is 35 min. An hour & a half later they show up with a scrawny young man, who ended up hitting bed rails on 2 walls, causing damage that isn’t fixable. We finally get frustrated to the point of saying “y’all just need to empty the truck & we will unload our trailer ourselves.” Comes time to take care of the bill…she billed me full price of 2 guys, for the hours that only one guy actually did significant work. Then another 3+ hours for the scrawny kid. 6 hours for $750, including their travel fee. I even questioned how she thinks this is fair, given how this day has gone. She cut me off rudely & just blurted out the hours, the workers & the distance. The husband had been very apologetic to my husband about how things had gone. There was just no reflection of those regrets in what we were charged. I paid it, but will never use them again & certainly won’t recommend them.

  Paid for three movers for seven hours, but got the work of only two movers for six hours. One cabinet had some mirror pieces broken by the movers. The head mover took measurements and said that he would get back with me on the three pieces that needed to be replaced. After not hearing anything back, I called Amanda that runs the business and she said that she did not know anything about this. I did not even mention the other dissatisfaction or that later we noticed the front fridge door was dented. She said that she would check into and call me back but that mover is no longer with them but that she would get with the other one that broke the cabinet. She is now not returning or answering my calls. I would not use this unprofessional company. DO NOT USE THEM! BE WARE!

  I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me make a move. Not one person complained about the wight of my massage chair. Took all 5 of us to get it up the stairs.. yes I helped also. If you don't help it will take longer to get the job done. My goal was to stay in budget so I could tip out the movers. Thank you American Movers 361 for your professional staff and time. I couldn't have done it without you guys!
