Worst experience of my life! Movers are unprofessional and worked very slowly. They half moved everything left things behind that I had to go back and get which cost more money! Several of my things was broken including a 65" tv. I called Andy he said he would call back I never heard from him again. After reading receipt I noticed mover only told Me about one protection plan very deceitful. I feel like I was scammed so beware DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. All this after he called me for two days pressuring me to move early he literally said if I don't feel like doing it on the scheduled day I just won't do it. BEWARE OF CON ARTIST AND SCAMMERS!

      Response from the owner

SHE CASHED MY COMPENSATION CHECK AND WE HAVEN’T EVEN DEPOSITED HER CHECK FROM THE MOVE. Here is the other side to her story... We had contacted this customer for several days before her moving date of Jan. 23rd to reschedule this due to a snow and ice storm that was going to hit the afternoon of the 21st as we may not have been able to move her on the 23rd due to black ice. She agreed to the 21st of Jan. Since it was 2 days early to her requested move date, she was not ready. So we sealed all her semi-packed boxes with my supplies that she was not charged for. In 3 hours, we finished packing her boxes, loaded and unloaded her... this move was definitely not dragged out as alleged. So this service took 2 hr & 45 min plus 15 mins of driving time. We are permitted to charge an hour of driving time I only charged her for the actual driving time.  The evening of the move she called me complaining for 20 minutes that we didn't move a set of bed rails that were in the back of the closet, that the guys were slow, and they keep their hands in their pockets while walking back to the apartment from the truck (Firstly, its 30 degrees and COLD. Secondly, they are not transporting anything from the truck to the apartment on the load so there is no effect on her move.) I tried and tried to explained to her that SHE did what we call a walk through at the end of the load to make sure that we loaded everything, and she said we had everything. She said she would get the small stuff left, because she didn't want to pay for the time to pack the rest of the stuff, but she didn't see the bed rails in the closet. She wanted me to come out that night and move them. I tried to explain to her that we were closed and I didn't have anybody coming in tomorrow because of the snow storm ( the whole reason her move date was changed). She then continued to yell at me about the bed rails and the guys. I again explained to her that we were closed for the next couple days due to the snow & ice storm weather. Right before she hung up on me she alleged that her tv had a small crack. For that, I apologized and the following Monday I sent her a check for her alleged damages and some time on the move, which she immediately cashed.  But if you are calling to complain about something wouldn’t you start off with the tv issue and not a bed rail in a closet with the tv being an afterthought. I think so. She has cashed my check and I still haven't deposited her check from the move. As to the contract she signed it is clearly marked with two option for protection plans. The 2nd option has a higher protection at an additional charge which she didn't want to pay. She only wanted the basic plan (again that’s my fault).  So what does she do? She leaves us two different 1 star reviews with different emails to hurt a small business that works very hard at a sometimes not too easy business. Google wont do anything about it because it’s GOOGLE and they don’t care

Saturday move, start time 8:30. One foreman, 3 workers (2 new workers, one of which wasn't authorized to enter Ft Bragg). Foreman initially said, he didn't know he had to move all my items. Few minutes later, he found paperwork he'd been looking for! Move began, but about 90 minutes later, a very LOUD verbal discussion (which ended after the foreman issued an even louder F-bomb), was underway - outside, in front of the condo! Neighbors were aware! Subsequently told that the foreman, and the seasoned worker, didn't get along. Work stopped, owner was called, disgruntled worker soon left! During pack out, I retrieved parts of my entertainment center, which had been placed on the ground, propped against the rail. I placed the items into my SUV. Upon leaving, owner came to drive the accompanying van; I went inside, to turn off lights, and lock doors. One of my bedspreads was still sitting on the living room floor! I retrieved it! Truck gate security did the background check, on the worker. We proceeded, afterwards. After my items were brought into new place, the foreman asks "did you, by chance, pick up the doors to the entertainment center?" After papers were signed, check written, foreman says, "take care" or something, seemingly not noticing, that my older model TV set had not been placed onto the entertainment center! Questions: 1. Why send 2 newbies with 2 who don't get along? 2. Other workers eventually came; why weren't they sent, initially? 3. What would've happened, if the worker HADN'T passed the background check? *Shouldn't ALL workers get screened, in case they HAVE to enter post? For the courtesy I was shown, I'd have gladly given 5 stars; but a reduced cost, after all the issues, would've been the apology I'd preferred...

Another satisfied customer! Used Andy's to relocate from a 3 bedroom house in Hope Mills to a similar home in Sanford. We had everything packed, taken apart and ready to go when the 4 man crew arrived at 7:00am with their truck, van for fragile items and trailer for overflow it needed. Including travel time they were finished before 12:30! I was expecting it to be a full day job, but the crew was great and efficient even in the hot and humid weather. Cost was much more reasonable than expected. I could not have asked for a better moving experience. A tip for those moving - make sure you are FULLY packed, take apart anything you can where possible (take beds apart, legs off tables, washer and dryer disconnected, etc, etc) and everything ready to be loaded and moved and that will greatly reduce your moving time and therefore cost and the movers will love you for it!
