  Unfortunately this auction house (specifically, their furniture and antique division) is a newbie auction house that has a lot of kinks to straighten out. They discourage previews and have problems with communication. I cannot recommend them as my own experience was a joke - I made an appointment to preview, drove two hours for said appointment and then received a call when I was a few minutes away telling me I cannot preview. When I tried to point out I had made an appointment the day before, the man on the phone argued that it was the fault of the staff and that he doesn’t have insurance on site for people previewing. Absolute waste of time. Maybe in a few years they’ll catch up and actually figure out how to work with customers but for now, avoid. There are plenty of other auctions in the area that have real preview times and are structured for this type of business.

  Picked up something today for the first time. Pick up email told me to go to the back of the building and follow signs. I did. Apparently there was someone sitting in a chair on side of building (with no signs) that I didn't see who felt the need to come up and confront me for not stopping at him. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. I suggest the instructions be updated or give the guy a sign so that people know to stop there and avoid awkwardness.

  Ararity Services is very professional! I had fragile items packed by their ladies--their packing was great! Everything arrived in perfect shape. (It was a large move we needed to get done to Erickson Living Community in Maryland). I chose Ararity because their quote was much less than other organizing and moving companies in the area. Cristin and everyone else I met were top notch! I would highly recommend this company in the future to anyone moving.
