  I really appreciated that Michelle communicated with me via text to give our estimates and coordinate the scheduling. That was much more convenient for me than having a phone call and/or going through tedious online forms for other companies. Very reasonable rates and I was not deceived with unexpected charges like I've been with my last move with another company. Jose and YaYa did an excellent job with our moving. We are so pleased with their service and efficiency. They were early/on time and wasted no time at all and did everything well and in less than the estimated time. We didn't have a lot of stuff and it was a very simple move to load our things that were already packed in a single storage unit and then brought up to our third floor apartment with elevators, but we really appreciated that they did not intentionally try to drag it out, which happened to us with other movers before.

  It its hard for me to write this review, as the overall experience was pleasant, with one important exception. The guys did a good job of loading and unloading everything carefully,, including a piano. However, the estimate (in person) was significantly off, as was the size of the truck they brought for the job. They claimed that it took them much more time than planned, and the charge increased by more than 40%. That was after I asked them to increase the original estimate and bring an extra person in order to be more efficient, but even with that it went very slow and they ended up charging me significantly more than agreed. And that after I agreed for them to leave most of the boxes downstairs or in the garage, leaving it for me to carry into the house. To be fair, there were 8 more boxes than Shawn saw when he did the estimate, but a couch and a dresser that were supposed to be moved did not need to be, so the overall volume and weight were the same or less as when he walked through the apartment..Therefore, I can recommend them for the moving process, but make sure the estimate is iron-clad with minimal allowed wiggle room, and read the ridiculous contract before signing it (hourly penalties for non-immediate payment). Original estimate: 1500. With the 3rd person: 1800. Final bill: 2600! The only reason I am not giving one or two stars is that before getting the estimate I expected to pay around 2200-2300, which still does not excuse the lowball estimate.

  Shawn and co. were terrific. Professional, adaptable, and able to move a lot of heavy stuff very quickly! I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone in need of movers.
