  I purchased a garage building five years ago. At the time of purchase I reviewed my plans for the garage with Jason which, included framing upgrades, roll up door and my plan to run a concrete driveway to the building. I questioned the use of a building product for the floor which was not pressure treated. Pressure treated product resists bugs and rot. I was guaranteed by the owner Jason that the Georgia Pacific product would be fine and besides I had a 10 year warranty. Well surprise, the Georgia Pacific product has rotted! A crew came out and took pictures then returned a week later only to tell me the issue was not a warranty issue. They claimed I should not have run my concrete driveway to the building! How else would you get your vehicle into the building. Bottom line in my case is Best Way Buildings looked for reasons to deny helping rather than looking for a way to help. My after the sale support was non existent. Based on my experience as a Best Way Buildings customer I would not reccomend their services or products.

  When Mr. Paradise called me and told me about his problem of the plywood getting wet and rotting by his garage door, I asked him to email some pictures. After looking at these pictures, which were just of the inside of his building. I had someone go out to fix it for him on a Saturday. When my lead man got there he called me and sent me pictures of the building from the outside and I immediately saw the problem. The concrete company that poured his driveway, poured the slab right up to the threshold of his garage door allowing water to go under and on the sides of the threshold into his building. Whichever concrete company he used to pour the concrete should have suggested and installed a concrete grate in front of the garage door to trap and direct the water instead of allowing it to get into the building. So even if we were to come out and replace the water damaged plywood the same thing would happen again since the concrete slab does not have drainage at the building. When my lead man told him that this was not a warranty issue, since the slab was not poured by our company, and the slab is the reason the water was getting into the building causing the rot. He became extremely upset saying that he was going to go on google and give us a bad review. Trying to give my company (that got right out to inspect what he thought was a warranty issue) a bad name, when in fact this problem resulted from the concrete slab that came after our building. I understand your frustration but you are directing it towards the wrong company.

  My mother had ordered a building with a deposit down, it had been ordered for a few weeks. Unfortunately my mother passed away. I called them and they were more than considerate and quickly issued a refunded. I'm pretty happy with their customer service.
