  After reading multiple reviews of Bill Ball Moving services, we decided that it was truly a hit or miss. The reviews were either 5 or 1 star. However we feel this little service deserved a steady 3.5 stars. Pros: They fit more than we expected in the truck (we expected 2 trips ) they Got everything loaded fairly quickly with minimal breaks if not any. They Did everything we asked them to do (did hear one complaint from someone who didn’t realize we were there) and were very good at utilizing available storage space in units. This was the main selling point. They did fantastic with this. Cons: Arrived slightly later than what should have been expected (suspects personal stops, gas, breakfast ect) and counted their commute time as an hour and 20 minutes when the commute is 50 minutes flat and charged us for this. Crew as a whole seemed to be slightly introverted , however, if you initiate conversation all were friendly, nothing you wouldn’t expect out of the average moving crew. Towards the end, we noticed the crews work pace slowed as the day progressed. The truck was loaded very quickly but seemed to be unloaded rather slowly. This could be due to fatigue or money, but the way they organized the storage unit made up for some of the slow pace. We had a slight miscommunication ($8 an hour difference) on pricing. Be sure you confirm your pricing multiple times and document it. Overall, a good company we would use again if we were in dire need. Thanks Bill Ball Movers!

  Precious man who shared his testimony with me over the phone. If you are looking for a kind and honorable man with a moving service, this is your guy. What a blessing he was to talk with and his movers did an excellent job.

  Bill's 'Old VA' up-n-thm-thar-hills style of friendly-humor comes off like Gomer Pyle (MEANING: He don't intend to offend although he does offend. It's just HIS way of being nice & keeping the seriousness down a notch or two. Yet some would think he's downgrading/demeaning. He's jus Good Ol' Bill Ball, that's all. "Nice doin business with yaw. Hope we satisfied all your needs!" His crew is seemingly introverted but excellent at surmising and organizing moving details with Austen in leadership. Austen is a naturally-skilled 'Leader'. Take care, you fellar's. Hey, Thomas, the analytical-thinking one SMILE MORE OFTEN makes everyone feel their best, including you!
