  Highly recommend Black Tie Moving! The entire experience was great. Excellent customer service and communication leading up to moving day. The day of my move James, Chris, and Patrick arrived on time and were extremely professional and friendly. They packed up everything quickly and with great care. At my new place, they moved everything in with just as much care and expediency. There wasn't a single scratch on any of my furniture or walls and nothing was broken. I have moved several times in my life and it can be pretty stressful. Black Tie Moving alleviated a lot of that stress. If I ever have to move again, I will definitely be calling them.

  Haven't had my move yet, but called today to schedule one and they made it so, so easy. As a single woman with a demanding 9-5, I have such limited time throughout the day. Black Tie had me scheduled and answered all my questions and more in under ten minutes between my meetings. Seriously the most pleasant moving company call I've had.

  Movers were great! They knew what they were doing and went above and beyond. Nothing was damaged and we got it done way ahead of schedule. They did try to take a lunch on my dime, and several smoke breaks... but whatever. HOWEVER.. I have told the concierge service several times that I'm not interested in their add on services but they keep calling me. I was referred to black tie by my realtor and was told I would recieve a discount for choosing a preferred vendor. The person I spoke to from black tie confirmed that but no discount was ever applied. I called back several times unable to reach someone, left voicemail but no one ever called me back. Eventually I gave up. On principle alone, I probably won't ever use these guys again.

  Hi Donny, Unfortunately it sounds like your move wasn't up to our standards and we are so sorry about that. We do not allow lunch or smoke breaks during allotted move time, so that is unacceptable. We are happy to hear they were still able to give you outstanding service otherwise and keep you ahead of schedule. As for the discount, we do not normally supply realtor clients with discounts ...we do supply them with a VIP team. I am going to look further into this for you to try and understand the miscommunication.
