  Movers that arrived where great even though they were 2 hours late, which I understood no move goes as planned. But the 2 hour delay caused my uhaul return to be late. Which when I reached out to the company to ask if something could be done I was told that I lied about what I needed, the movers are for heavy objects not smaller boxes & asked that I not use them again as they do not like customers that lie

  We hired Brightside Movers to help with our recent move and unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed. The guys themselves were nice, but the management is TERRIBLE. We hired 2 guys for 3 hours for our move. When we were coming up on the 3 hour mark, one of the guys came and asked if we were okay with paying for additional hours. I asked about the price and was told that it would either be the same price per hour or $10 less per hour and that he’d check with his boss. He also said his boss was sending an extra guy to help. There was no mention of additional charges. Although they were nice, they moved extremely slowly. The first hour went fast and then after that, they significantly slowed down. It was almost like they were trying to drag the process out on purpose. In order to speed things up for our sake, my husband, son and I helped move things into our new house and had the guys focus on the larger items. This defeated the purpose of hiring movers because we wound up hurting physically afterward, which we were trying to avoid. Additionally, the guys didn’t seem to be experienced movers. They had trouble getting pieces of furniture into the house and upstairs and a number of times, my husband had to just take care of it himself (e.g. carrying my son’s twin bed upstairs). Despite our help, the move took a total of 7 hours. I have no clue how long it would have taken had we not stepped in to help. Once they were done, we were sent a price adjustment and discovered that we were charged DOUBLE for the extra 4 hours they were there with no confirmation or anything. We tried communicating a bit with one of the guys via text, but at that point, they had to go to another job and said they couldn’t leave until I submitted payment. After moving all day for 7 hours, we were exhausted and late returning the U-Haul, so we decided to pay and reach out to the manager afterwards. When I initially reached out to the manager (Alex Barraza) and expressed my concerns via email, he responded that he’d touch base with his team and get back to me. After that point, I have followed up multiple times and have not heard back at all. Bottom line: I would not recommend Brightside Movers to anyone. I gave then several opportunities to make things right before leaving a negative review, but they don’t even have the common decency to respect their customers by responding to communications. Don’t waste your time or money with this company. They’re only going to take advantage of you.

  I would like to thank Bright Side Movers from the bottom of my heart for helping my daughter through a difficult situation. Had they not arrived when they did and demonstrated such courtesy, helpfulness and compassion, I'm not sure how the move would have gone. Life isn't easy, especially moves, but these guys are wonderful.
