  We rented a 12 foot truck through Budget/Costco to drive from NJ to GA. The truck they gave us had 128K miles and could barely hit 50 mph. This vehicle was in no shape to be rented out and absolutely unsafe for this trip. When I complained, Jaime said "my job is to get you a truck" and showed indifference to the fact that this truck was totally unacceptable to be rented out. Jaime could not find us a truck that could be used. We ended up returning it for a full credit and went to Penske at United Rent-All in Hillsborough who rented us an excellent truck at an excellent price. Wish we had saved the aggravation of renting Budget and went to United Rental first.

  Reserved a 16' truck and at this location for 8am. Arrived and was told there was no truck at this location and to call corporate. When I called corporate I was told it could take up to 2 hours for them to find me a truck within 15 miles of my original location. That would have been fine except when they called me at 9:30 they told me the closest truck was in Orange New Jersey which is at least an hour drive from where the original location was. I hired two men help me move my belongings cuz I certainly can't do it myself. So on top of having to pay them I'm going to have to pay two more people next weekend and hopefully I'll be able to get a truck from U-Haul this time. I will never use budget because you can't count on budget to be there when you need them to be.

  The representatives coming in and going out were extremely nice and helpful. Prices are excellent. I would recommend budget over any other rental company. 👍🏾
