Giving no stars is not possible. I spoke to Bob on the phone and am so disappointed. This truck was headed North bound on 251 easily going 75 mph on a 55 mph road. I am a local and see these trucks endangering my community daily with high speeds, flying objects and on their phones. This truck was going at high speeds and flung the largest rock into my windshield after going off the road slightly. I am so thankful no one was hurt. Once I turned around and was able to catch up to him I began honking attempting to get him to pull over. This was along Baxter road. Instead of going to the truck stop he proceeded to get on I-39 north. I was still honking waving my hand out my window directing him to pull over as he was in the turn lane. I followed him along I-39 and was finally able to get alongside him on I-90 as my fiancé took these photos. Bob stated his driver "probably didn't know." You can see in the photo he saw us. We pointed to the windshield and made a burst motion with our hands to which he chuckled, gave us a dirty look and tossed up his hands. He refused to pull over. I understand, as Bob said, this happens. What I do not understand is not only endangering my community with his driving, damaging my vehicle and then failing to be a decent human being and pulling over to exchange insurance information. I should have called the cops. I will be sure to share as much of this over social media as possible. Please help me by sharing this post to spread the word of this awful "Chicagoland" company hurting our rural community with their "city" driving. First estimate we received was $700. The lack of responsibility for erratic driving and communication shows the values of this company. If you value human lives while driving, good business practices and the fact this could happen to your vehicle and get dirty looks with hands up...never use Catom Trucking, Inc..

A Catom Trucking driver threw a massive rock at my windshield on the interstate I-80 East near Williamsburg, IA. I attempted to flag the driver over, he ignored me. I called the company and had my passenger take photos of the dirty truck bed, the driver and all information. The person that answered the phone and acted like it wasn’t a big deal. After a bit of convincing he sent me their insurance number but claimed the rock to my windshield was my fault. I contacted insurance and a week has passed with the company stating they “can’t get a hold of the driver.” Such a shame that this company allows drivers to not complete pre-drive checks, damages people’s property and take NO ACCOUNTABILITY.. Shame on you, Catom Trucking.
