I cannot attest to the level of justice given within the courthouse or how fair the judges are, but I quite liked the outside. My home state’s courthouses are Roman Revival with Tuscan porticos and so on, so I liked seeing a brick one for a change. Unlike my home states’ courthouses, this one lacked many war memorials which are common (just down the street is a multi-branched military memorial), but instead has a stone memorial for an old citizen, a Dixie Highway marker, and a historical sign detailing what’s gone on with the county. At night, I saw may Mediterranean house geckoes on the building which was really neat and during the day, saw anoles skittering about everywhere. Worth a stop if in Folkston, cheers.

Can not pay ticket online its been 2 months . Get it done so people dont have to be inconvenienced by a long drive out of the way. Why have an online payment option if its not available for use? Specifically labeled traffic citation payments? And yet my citation is not in their system. Shame on them.

I want to give a shout out to the ladies who helped me today get a copy of my parents marriage license. Considering it was back in 1946, it took them almost no time to get me copies and I was on my way home. The State of Georgia could learn a thing or two from these two ladies about customer service. Thanks very much!
