  I used to deal with Citizens Transfer & Storage when I worked for Burr Brown/Texas Instruments from 1996-2005. I called Citizens Transfer & Storage recently for a former employee. They still have the records and the person that answered the phone had great customer service! Thank you

  Run away! These people are THIEVES and CROOKS! My employer contracted Citizens to do our move from Tucson to Phoenix. Ernie and his workers took six hours to load our 3-bedroom house, and they took their truck on their lunch break. When they delivered the items in Phoenix two days later, they were sloppy and careless. This was our first time using a moving company, and they did not make any indication that I should be present either for the load-up to make sure everything was packed up and inventoried, or for the unload to make sure everything was delivered. When we finally got to everything we realized that their carelessness had damaged over $1,000 worth of furniture, dishes, lamps, and so forth, but also that they never delivered our portable AC unit. When I went to file a claim I realized that it had been "conveniently" left off the inventory list. Of the 8,000+ pounds of household goods, they expected us to ensure that every item had been inventoried. Did I mention that when the appraiser came out before the move to check what things we had to move, she mentioned that her son was looking to buy an AC unit just like ours? And then they took their truck with our possessions to lunch for an hour, and kept it at their location for two days. THEY STOLE OUR $300 AC UNIT!!! And since the dishes and other things they broke were packed by us, the tiny writing buried in the contract states that they were absolved from responsibility. In this move we lost over $1,300 of our lives to this company. STAY AWAY!!!!!
