Wish I would’ve read the other negative reviews before signing a contract with this company. It would’ve saved me a lot of stress and headache. So please take head to all of the negative reviews on this company. We signed for our “guaranteed” move about 2 months in advance and the Thursday morning of our move they called to cancel because a couple of drivers were sick. Illness is understandable but they are a large company which is why we chose them so things like this wouldn’t happen. We were moving from a 6 BR home so they should’ve planned to bring more than 2 people! The manager said they could probably start the next day. The next morning we were called to say the drivers showed up to work and we’re still sick so they aren’t coming again and could not tell us for sure when they would be able to start our move. It’s was confusing because who actually shows up for work when they are sick to be told not to work when they were already sick the day before. This put us in a huge bind because we were selling our home and had to be out by the end of the weekend to close that Monday. The manager didn’t even offer to discount any services until we said we would have to cancel. We had to find large u-haul trucks which were in extremely limited supply so had to get from 2 different cities and find friends and family to help last minute to get us moved. It turned what was supposed to be an exciting time moving into our new home into a terrible experience.Thankfully I was paying by cashiers check which I was able to return back to my bank. So if you do for some reason decide to go with this company, don’t pay ahead by credit card.

Very poor and unprofessional experience in Indianapolis, IN. Requested an estimate for a small office move on July 30. Received estimate and confirmed move date for 2 months later on Sept 30. Lots of back and forth as they tacked on many unnecessary add ones. Fast forward to today Sept 28, (2 days before move). They tell us we did not sign a contract (which it turns out the salesman, Alex, emailed to himself last week instead of to us and never mentioned we had to sign a contract in any of the 20+ emails). He apologizes for accidentally sending it to himself, but nothing he can do. We call to speak with his supervisor who says he'll call us back in 10 minutes. 5 minutes later, we get an email from Alex stating they cannot move us until November. What? We are now in a huge bind because our IT equipment has to be at the new office this week for hookup, and this horrible moving company just completely backed out on us. Horrible company, horrible sales person, terrible. We should have read the lousy reviews before we hired them-lesson learned.

We had a two-part move while a new house was being constructed. We asked several movers to conduct in-home walk-thrus/inventory to get the best estimate. We selected Coleman Allied for a variety of reasons. They seemed professional, knowledgeable, staffing the move appropriately, reasonably priced. Day One move comes and they show up with one junker truck and two men vs. two trucks and 4 men. The one man was new and didn't know anything about moving, so it was a very slow process. Took an entire day and two trips to get us out of our house and settled in an apartment and storage. Our salesperson was non-existent and didn't answer calls or address concerns until everything was done. For six months they stored about 2/3 of our items in vaults in a warehouse, and paying was a nightmare. Their system is horrible, and the staff changes about every other week, so getting assistance wasn't easy. Second move comes and I've shared our expectations and been promised by our salesperson that he will "personally handle". Never heard from him again. Just as big of a disappointment as the first time. Then we find damaged items coming out of storage. They put me in touch with their "claims representative" and I have to meticulously capture everything that is damaged, provide an estimate for repair and send pictures and fill out their paperwork. The wait begins and after several follow-ups, I learn that they're going to cover 1/3 of the repair expense. The movers have been copied on everything and have never responded or offered any assistance. So much for being bonded and insured. We're out hundreds of dollars and had a horrible experience to boot. Do yourself a favor... look long and hard at movers and don't even include Coleman Allied in your hunt. You'll thank me.
