We retained College Hunks' services in Tampa - loading up our moving pod for a move to New York state. We also asked them to help pack up kitchen items and other things around the house. They BROKE our very expensive dining table in the process, but we were nice about it and asked that they haul it (which they charged us $200 for, WHICH they should not have since THEY BROKE OUR TABLE). We moved to NY. Once we opened up our pod and took out the large furniture (couches, etc), we finally realized that they did a HORRIBLE job of loading up our boxes and smaller furniture. They did not even wrap up any of our wooden tables even though we provided plenty of furniture blankets and there were more than enough. Our wooden furniture was scratched up badly. Our brand new, unused freezer was dented badly and the finish rubbed off completely in a lot of places. Our expensive 5'9" tall steel cage for our pet was broken. Most boxes were completely smashed and destroyed. The kitchen items that they packed for us were just thrown into the boxes with no protection, even though they brought some and we provided plenty foam and bubble wrap. Our expensive nonstick pans were scratched up badly and many items were smashed and damaged. The movers we hired to get our stuff into the house were completely APPALLED by the way the pod was packed up, they insisted we take pictures and call the company that did this because, in their words, even a 5 year old could see that this was NOT how professional movers packed up a truck or pod. We have pictures. Boxes were thrown into the back of the pod and unwrapped, unprotected furniture just stacked high with whatever they could find. Boxes just shoved into crevices, heavy boxes on top of light, fragile items. First they BREAK our dining table, which cost us $1,200, and we were nice about it because accidents happen, then they do this? Completely unprofessional. We filled out form and called them, yet they never response back to us.

They damaged a lot of my mom’s things. They sent someone out to touch up some of the damaged furniture but he could not do anything with her book cases or her sewing cabinets. He was giving College Hunks a report on the things the he couldn’t repair. I have left several emails to try to get thing resolved but they are totally unresponsive. BEWARE!!!!!!!

Jayden and Xavier did a great job for us today. They were so professional and friendly. Very careful with all of our furniture and had no problems moving the heavy stuff like a king bed and couch down a flight of tight stairs. Thanks again I look forward to doing more business with College Hunks in the future!
