  I worked with Kenny and Anthony on a last-minute, same-day move. They were quick and professional. Even when I encouraged them to take a break, they kept working. They took great care of the items and nothing was damaged. Both guys had a great personality as well.

  I recently used College Hunks to move into my new home. Words cannot express how disappointed I am with this company. After reading great reviews online and having a friend personally recommend them, the service I received was far from my expectations. Moving is hard work and I have tremendous respect for the men and women who choose to do this work. I understand and would even go as far as to say I expect there to be some damage while moving heavy objects, it's just part of the job. However, my moving crew gave no effort to keeping items safe and the damages they caused could have been easily avoided. Most items were thoroughly boxed and bubble wrapped. There were multiple occasions I saw the movers drop boxes on the sidewalk, fail to use moving blankets on furniture, and attempt to move large pieces without any assistance. Here are just a few of the items that were damaged: - Extensive damage to stairway and hallway walls (supposedly covered... more on that below) - Standing mirror (cracked) - 15+ glassware items - Sofa - Entertainment Center - Dresser They somehow even managed to break a toaster. When talking to the lead about the damages he said that nothing, aside from the wall damage, would be covered. I was informed that someone would be out to my place to fix the damaged walls and paint them. Unfortunately, no one ever reached out. After reaching out twice, I am yet to get a response from anyone at College Hunks. I really do hope that I was a corner case, but I must say I will not be using College Hunks in the future. Beware of this company.

  Terrible service - they do not follow through with what they guarantee. Dresser legs were broken because workers pushed the furniture against our carpet and broke the leg pieces. The particle board was blamed for not having structural integrity. On the recorded conversation, John stated that “while pieces are being handled in your home, it is insured”. Irresponsible company. Steer clear.
