Movers were hasty in their approach. Damaged several pieces of large furniture because they decided to move them alone rather than get assistance from one of the other movers. Given the age and style of some of the pieces, repair would likely drop the value even more. The team lead showed respect but the younger guys were unprofessional and left several pieces of furniture disassembled despite getting a very generous tip. Recommend keeping an eye on the team to make sure they get everything done.

Excellent organization to work with. I had a time sensitive move going to multiple destinations and it had to be done during winter conditions. Colonial was flexible with scheduling around upstate New York blizzard conditions and kept me informed throughout. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

We bought a leather sofa on Craig's List knowing we would have to have it moved from Branford to Wethersfield. We were able to get Colonial Movers on very short notice.
