  TOTALLY AWFUL. Completely lied about the mover's price and just pushes you to sign. He assured me the quote I got was much much higher than what I would actually pay, and I shouldnt worry about it. It'd be fiiiiiine. Nope, movers wanted an extra $2500 and I found out the day before. DO NOT USE THEM.

  We are sorry for your experience with us. Your move was during the busiest month of the year with a short time frame. All movers had imposed a minimum weight for shipments; your shipment was well under that weight resulting in a higher cost to meet that minimum. We proposed an alternative which would allow a timely pick up but with an increase cost. We will be certain to more clearly identify the potential weight of smaller shipments during these periods in order to better prepare our clients. Thank you for contacting us.

  I learned about them from AAA. First of all, they are not a moving company. They profess to solicit quotes from moving companies on your behalf and then offer a steep discount. Their quote for my move was $24,000 and then after discounts it was $8900. However, I'd already gotten a quote direct from a moving company for $7,000. So all Consumer Relocation does is jack up the price then discount it so it looks like you're getting a deal. I'm seriously disappointed in the AAA for promoting them.

  That is correct that we are not a moving company. We coordinate the shipment of household goods for our clients member's and employee's utilizing major van lines throughout the country. Our contracts with these moving partners outline discounts, savings and other service features which result in a quality move and the best possible price for the services delivered. The variation in price was derived by the carriers quote of full tariff rate with the discount negotiated with them applied to the lower price.
