  This was a move from WA to AZ with a full household of stuff (3000 sf of belongings), transport of two cars and arranged to have fragile items professionally packed. The bid process was done via cell phone "FaceTime" walk-through of household items to move. This was very thorough and received good advice on what and how to pack. Movers packed fragile art objects and we opted for the full insurance coverage and also opted for the added service of the movers coming back to pick up the empty boxes and packing paper after the move so we did not have to deal with hauling anything to the recycle plant. The moving crew at both ends of the move were professional, well-trained and set up the new house in good order with beds assembled and all boxes placed in the room as per the box labels. Moving is expensive. If your furnishings are worth the cost of the move, then hire the best - and Continental Van/Mayflower is definitely the best. Would use this company again and highly recommend.

  Most furniture was moved efficiently, and movers were courteous, and packed according to a methodology....but 10 of 12 valuable antiques, a delicate lamp, and expensive custom furniture was damaged or destroyed during the move by crushing or impact. Ikea style furniture and boxes we packed came through unscathed. YMMV. They did pay on the insurance that we spent extra to get, but it is impossible to recover some of the damage.....So if you have valuables or delicate pieces you may want to handle them yourself. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and delivery was on time.

  Couldn't be in Seattle for my move due to Virus restrictions so Mayflower organized everything and worked with my friend to pack & load the truck. The main reason I stuck with Mayflower is they moved my things 30 years ago without any issues & in 2020 the representatives were engaged and willing to make the move happen without me being there. When my belongings arrived on the East Coast the dispatch contacted me and the truck arrived the next day. Took 2 hours for 3 men to unload & store my belongings. Big weight off because I was able to vacate my apartment which saved money and anxiety for the future. Would highly recommend this team. Not the cheapest but I didn't experience any of the negatives that the lower priced companies offer others. Very grateful.
