Cross Town Movers provide personal quality service. A live person answers the phone quickly and they are always kind and extremely professional. Preston and Collin were our movers. They provided an immediate great first impression with smiles and enthusiasm. It was a lot of hard work handling the stairs and we are so grateful for them. We enjoyed talking to them throughout the move. Truly great young men who worked so hard and were so kind and gracious the entire time. They handled our things very well. Cross Town Movers should be proud of what they produce in their life's work. All of you make a difference in others lives. We are blessed for the experience. Thank you.

    Response from the owner

Thanks for your kind words. We will certainly pass on your message to Preston and Collin.

I’m local, lived in the valley my entire life, I’ve used many movers over the years. Everything from out on my own, finished school at BSU. I even try to live out of state, and moved straight back. The point being, I’ve seen it all. I had a GREAT moving company I always used, A+ MOVING but they are unavailable. I’ve only come across a few scuffs etc. nothing to get upset about. But this last move with Cross Town Movers, is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in general and customer service. *I told him how large my unit was and then it required a semi truck 3000 ft.² of home. They didn’t tell me they didn’t have one of those they send a 28 foot box truck, which conveniently for someone getting paid $200 an hour he’s going to take more than one trip. * As they were loading they were falling over things tripping up on themselves, and moving at a very leisurely pace. I could ignore all these little things if it wasn’t for the fact they stack boxes in the way that when they drove the boxes fell over and dumped all over the truck, another box, the tape had gotten caught and all the contents of that box dumped out from 3 feet high. And then lastly they shattered one of my pots, the gentleman kept saying “will cover you we did that, will cover you”and then when I called customer service they said no it’s my fault, I shouldn’t be moving pots. What ?! So $800 later and only half of my storage unit moved I DO NOT recommend them, hire the church, hire kids. Pay blind elderly man, you’d be better off!!

    Response from the owner

We are sorry you're disappointed with the service you received. A few clarifications. All of our moving trucks are 26', if you had requested a semi we would have referred you to another mover for that type of service. We do not charge $200 per hour. We only move outdoor pots with the customer's acknowledgement that we can't be responsible due to their fragile nature once they've spent some time out in the weather. As you know, prior to even seeing his review, we compensated you for the pot and for your concerns about the tote that we admittedly tipped over and spilled the crayons. We even compensated you for the box that was packed by you but, with loose tape, came apart and items spilled out. We focus on providing exceptional customer service and, as epitomized by our actions, we stand behind our work. We have a great team and attempt to be sure they are safe and well respected while on the job.

From the initial request for an estimate, to the reminder call two days before the move through the final move, Cross Town Movers were excellent. Russell and Salvador showed up on time, were efficient and careful and very professional. I highly recommend these movers!

    Response from the owner

Wonderful to hear, Chris. Thank you for your review and for your business!
