You absolutely must use this company when you need to move a parent from one place to the next. Charlea, Liz, and Kate are true professionals and made this huge task completely manageable. The services of Downsizing By Design are well worth the cost. Highly recommend! My husband spent the day with them as they measured, consigned the movers, had their people pack it all up and move it to another site and put it all back together in the new site, while gently and professionally making suggestions and offering support all along the process. We could not have done it ourselves and we feel very happy to have found Downsizing By Design!

I have used Downsizing by Design twice in the past two years to move my Mom and then my Aunt. Pat and her team are so organized, reliable, honest and knowledgeable. Charlea was such a great Team Leader that I requested her again for the second move. Her calming demeanor in a time of chaos and upheaval helped me through each move. Sheila worked with quiet efficiency, and Anders was consistently offering extra assistance and making sure things were perfect. Each team member takes pride in the important work they do, and I am so thankful that I got to know each of them. I highly recommend the Downsizing by Design team.

Downsizing by Design is professional, efficient, and is the only company I use when I have moved. Led by designer, Pat, the crew is amazing. All my belongings arrived in good condition. They packed up my house and unpacked it. And, they made arrangements with the movers. They do it all! Fantastic service, wonderful people!
