  No deposit refund once you moved out.... Always go get the refund when the owner is there. Once you moved out, you are out. It is impossible to get the refund any later..... How do know it? yes, I rent one unit 08/2019. Now is 02/20, I am still trying and the owner is still saying, "give me your address, let me see......"

  I have never wrote a review in my life. I've always figured if you don't like the service, then don't use it. Well... I'm writing this in hopes to save anyone from the experience I had @ Economy Storage . My house burned down in the spring & I got a small storage space here to hold what little I salvaged from the fire. They were offering a good special & I needed to save as much as I could since I lost nearly everything I've ever owned. The owner informed me I needed a circular lock & he had them for sale. I've read that it's best to use your own because a storage facility that sells their own locks could have a master key to open it without your consent. So I passed on buying a lock from him & bought my own. All was well until 2 weeks after renting the unit I get a call from the owner informing me my unit had been broken into! Unfortunately ( on many, many, levels) I had totaled my truck that same week, so I was unable to go investigate the unit for 2 weeks. When I met w/the owner he started to imply I had broke into the unit & that his insurance wouldn't cover any of my stolen items! Also, there were no cameras & my unit ( The smallest offered) was the only one to be burglarized. I would think a thief would target the largest first since it would hold more & increase their haul. I just found that suspicious. I decided I would take what was left & take my business elsewhere. I asked for a prorated bill for the month ( I figured it was the least he could do since everything that had transpired). He declined my request. I hope this doesn't happen to any more of his customers, but I have a feeling it will if you don't use his lock. He gives off a very creepy vibe. Like break into a women's houses & smells their panties creepy! I'll leave you to decided yourself, but proceed w/caution!!!!

  So far so good. Into my 3rd month and no issues at all. Owner was polite, showed up on time for the original appointment to rent from him. Nice man and efficient.
