  Solid option for local movers but some of the other reviews about poor communication between movers are accurate. The guy from the Ukraine should definitely learn some more English as he almost broke my furniture because he didn’t understand the other movers instructions. They were an hour late as well, and even though from the time they started to the time they finished was 40 minutes, the movers said it took longer than an hour. Good thing I had proof! Besides the above, I had no problems with a single couch delivery and would still recommend.

  traumatic experience! sent two movers, one that could not understand a word of english so the two movers had no way of communicating. so only one guy was moving anything. they loaded the van with the mattress diagonally and claimed to not be able to fit anything else. then i told the one guy who spoke english how to properly pack the van and he had to single handedly unpack and reload the van because his coworker could not understand what he was saying to do. they ended up fitting a room worth of boxes and furniture after saying they could fit nothing else. they have no idea what they are doing. so this takes much longer than with a better company. i would not trust them to move anything remotely fragile and after seeing them work i told them to leave our tv, mirrors, etc and moved those in my car. that part was annoying but the worst part was the owner. he is so rude, unprofessional, and dishonest.. when i told him about movers not being able to communicate and only one guy being able to work, he denied it, and blamed me (!) for his guys not getting to their other job on time (“this job is for more $ than your job, we are losing money because of you”) and said if he gave me a discount he would have to dock his guys pay (which is illegal and i wouldn’t want to do). he deliberately ignores questions that i asked to clarify about cost. i was desperate so i just went along with it going by his quote as stated. it ended up being twice as expensive as it should have been according to his quote. it turns out he was deliberately ignoring my questions so he could do this at the end. when i tried to reason with him he was screaming at me over the phone. his workers were so embarrassed. really awful guy and total scam of a company.

  If you want a responsive moving company that won't break the bank, try these guys. They miraculously squeezed me in on pretty short notice as long as I was flexible on the time. Considering that it was a fairly small job, I really appreciated the effort. I would have used Everyday Movers if I could have, but the building's ridiculously high liability requirements prevented this from happening. Most buildings don't require jumping through so many hoops, but this one did, and Pavel was with me every step of the way until the building management refused to budge. I had to cancel, losing out on much fine estate sale furniture, and Pavel couldn't have been nicer about it. Should I have the opportunity to hire movers again, my first stop will be Everyday Movers.
