  My partner and I hired Five Star to handle a short distance move within the neighborhood. While they did a fast job at packing up the furniture, I understood why after it was all transported to the next home. They did a poor job in wrapping our large furniture so our desk showed up with several scratch marks on top as did our credenza. One of our potted plants arrived with the pot broken. We got $150 back in claims, which won't do anything in fixing the damaged furniture. They also were unable to get our couch through the door. While I understand that was out of their hands, one of the movers walked out on the job leaving my partner to help the other mover. My partner spent a good 45 minutes with the mover trying to get the couch through the door, which we ultimately had to ditch outside, but it didn't feel fair to have paid for a moving job when you're supporting the heavy lifting. The movers were nice but not the most professional. I would not recommend Five Star unless you're looking for a moving job thats incredibly cheap and will damage your furniture. EDIT: Upon reading my reviewing, Chris did reach out to offer more compensation for the damages, which was appreciated.

  They did a great job and I was very satisfied until I realized that the movers had left the screws for my bed at my old home. They reassembled my bed without informing me that they forgotten the screws. Causing a huge safety risk. Update: Not only have I not received any type of communication from the company. I have also found damage to two different pieces of furniture! Update 2: this company is extremely attentive and willing to correct any mishaps. I received several calls to assure that the issue was resolved. They were willing to come back to repair furniture and setup the bed. Even offered to send furniture out to be repaired if needed. At the end I was given a credit with no hassle. Very satisfied!
