  When I started looking for movers for our upcoming move (just across town), I reached out to a half dozen companies in Sonoma County for quotes. Emily with Fresh Start Movers was the first to give me a call to talk about our move, what we had, come up with a quote, and to tell me about Fresh Start Mover's process and way of doing things. I was impressed that they wrap your furniture at no additional charge, they will assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture, put door jam protectors up, roll out a floor protector, insurance was standard and included, etc... Ultimately all of the quotes from every company came in within $200-300 of each other, but the difference was clear. Other companies didn't tell me about how much they care about protecting our belongings like Fresh Start Movers did. Other companies didn't talk about protecting my home, my door jams, door, and floors like Fresh Start Movers did. Other companies wanted to charge extra for insurance. Other companies didn't want to wrap our mattresses, instead other companies wanted us to purchase mattress bags (which are pricey) -- Fresh Start Movers saved us money by just wrapping them at no extra charge. Other companies weren't interested in getting an accurate accounting of what we had to move, and some just wanted to base their quote on the size of home. ...and, I could go on. Needless to say, we went with Fresh Start Movers. The day of our move we received a text message when the crew was on their way. From the moment they arrived, Kyle and crew took incredible care in handling our move. They started out by putting up protectors on our front door and door jams. They then meticulously wrapped all furniture in blankets and cellophane. They were quick and total professionals in loading up all of our furniture and boxes. One thing I wanted to highlight, they moved two custom built wood working cabinets full of bolts, fasteners, and other hardware... Each probably weigh in the 400-600lb range and are just awkward enough to move, that I knew they would be a challenge to move myself... These guys made quick work of it with their lift gate. Once at our new place they once again put up the protectors on our door, door jam, and rolled out a red floor protector. Unloading went quite quick and helped put together all of our furniture again. From start to finish, Fresh Start Movers were an absolute pleasure to work with and went a step beyond other movers. I cannot recommend them enough and, next time we move, they will be my only call.

  5 stars just isn't enough when you talk about quality service with Fresh Start. Kyle, Femi, and Anthony were well beyond helpful, kind, and tactful with handling my belongings for my local move. They went above the call of duty, moving heavy tool boxes, hardwood mattress frames, and unwieldy Samsung appliances up what I can only call the narrowest set of stairs I've ever stepped. I truly cannot fathom the level of appreciation, and gratefulness I have for the trio above and Fresh Start Movers as a whole. Thank you again for everything!

  Fresh Start Movers are the best! Emily in the office was thorough and speedy with responses to a ton of questions I had. The crew turned up on time and clearly explained how they charge. They blanket wrapped EVERYTHING - even the door frame. They were SO fast - and super detailed (even helped me center my rug). Plus friendly and courteous to boot. Made moving day super easy and carefree. I’ll definitely hire them again.
