We had a wonderful experience! We had a tall order with needing things moved from 3 close locations to our new home and Fresh Start made the entire process very easy for us. They were quick, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them if you need affordable and reliable movers. Everything was in our new home in about 4 hours. It is also very nice that they provide their own very large moving truck. Will be using them again next time we move!

I will start with saying that I'm disappointed with myself for trusting all the positive reviews this place has. We used these movers a week ago to move to our new house. My husband called and specified we had more than 50 boxes, as well as that we would need some type of blankets laid on floors because we have brand new floors and carpet, and we just had the whole house professionally cleaned. The owner John assured that they always use blankets and neoprene runners. Fast forward to our moving day, the movers are telling us they have a couple of blankets they're going to throw in front of the doors, and that's all they can do. Next, they tell us that the owner told them we have less than 50 boxes. Not sure if John ignored what my husband said and just assumed it's less since we were moving from an apartment. I don't know whether it was because of that or because they only have one truck, but we ended up with the truck that could only fit half of our stuff. So two trips were needed, it took twice more time than expected, and we paid twice more than quoted. On top of everything else, the movers flipped some of the boxes upside down, stacked heavy boxes on top of the light ones (which bent the boxes and made unpacking a nightmare), and left dirty handprints on my freshly painted beige walls.

Anna and Nikkoli, I sincerely apologize that you didn't have a great experience with our team during your move recently. Please know that what you've described is certainly not the customer experience that we aim for. There clearly was a communication error on our part regarding the floor protection Nikkoli and I discussed. Yes, I did tell my crew that there were less than 50 boxes but that's only because that was in my notes from the first conversation, I had by phone with your husband Nikkoli. He was the only person I spoke to regarding the move details. I had no reason to question that because a 2-bedroom apartment usually has less than that in most cases. Had I known that there was much more I would have approached the quote differently. The part in the review where it mentions double than was quoted is not accurate. I never promise a set amount of time a move will take because there are too many variables to a move. A good example is the 50 or fewer boxes that were described. My quotes start off with the 4-hour minimum and then what it costs after that. Most of our moves are 4-hour minimums. To assume that a 2-bedroom apartment going from Lindenwold to Sicklerville with well over 50 boxes plus furniture and making two trips taking only 4-hours just does not make sense. Nothing was ever brought to my attention during or after the move to be discussed and corrected so I never had a chance to make anything right. Even after seeing the review, I have tried reaching out to Nikkoli to discuss and unfortunately, no one has returned my call, email or text. Even we can have a bad day occasionally and you just so happened to be scheduled that day. For that, it's embarrassing and I'm very sorry for the bad experience. We are a small local company that does our best to be a trusted company in the area. These types of 1-star reviews can really hurt small businesses for years to come especially when they do not deserve it. Based on the facts, I don't think the bad review was justified. If you may, please reconsider your review. I’m sorry if I am coming off unprofessional or obviously annoyed. This is our first 1-star review so you can imagine it's hard to accept. John, and his moving crew, were excellent throughout our two-day move. Before the move, John was readily available whenever I had questions. He always wanted to work with me as I prepared for the move. John and his crew arrived on time and loaded their truck in a very courteous and efficient manner. The next day, the truck was unloaded in the same courteous and efficient manner. Everything was placed where we wanted it. All plastic and packing materials were removed from the furniture and disposed of properly. There was no damage to our furniture or the items packed in boxes. There was no damage to the walls or floors at either house The pricing was fair. John answered all my questions easily, and in a very satisfactory manner, throughout the entire process. This was an awesome move! Thanks John!
