  Highly recommend!! I have used Gentle Giant six times in the NYC area from 2010 to 2022 from easy moves to complex three part moves and packing. Each time everyone was responsive, professional, flexible, understanding, timely, you name it. Unmatched in the NYC area. May not be the cheapest (haven’t compared recently) but I’ve never met a more reliable professional pleasant moving company with normal people. The guys stay on for years and I’ve had a few repeats. I’ve used big name movers cross country several times and they cannot even compare. Thank you!!

  'Twas a lucky day finding Gentle Giant to make our cross-country move! We lack sufficient superlatives to describe our utter satisfaction with this white glove service. From inception through completion of this enormous project––delicate, high value cargo, including a 7' Steinway (none of which received a scratch!)––every person was professional, kind, caring, meticulous––in short, EXEMPLARY. Kudos and gratitude!

  This was one of the best experiences with a business I've ever had - I will never use a different company. Krystal and Rachael stayed diligent and patient getting my move prepared as we worked to ensure I had a fair rate and proper COIs for both the building I was leaving as well as moving into. Communicative & Patient: Before my move we had so many small details to prep related to my building's COI needs. Rachael and Krystal always responded in less than an hour and would quickly be available for calls if needed. On moving day, my movers gave me peace of mind by sending text and gave me a call when on their way - keeping me posted about parking, updates and any expected delays. Efficient, Trustworthy, Expert Movers All three of three of my movers were dedicated, trustworthy, strong and experienced - Patiently helping me wrap and protect my most important belongings, strategizing on getting big items in and out of small entryways. I moved from the UWS of Manhattan to Bronxville NY. I will never use another moving company!
