  We chose this place because it was close and had good reviews. We didn't have a good experience. We had an estimate of 580.00. By the list on their own estimate paper we had 3 exceptions at 25.00 each. 1 curio cabinet and 2 small safes. We did not go over our time charge of 2 men for 4 hours at 400.00. We had 1 extra stop charge of 60.00 and the truck usage charge for 120.00 that equaled 580.00. Add in the 3 extras at 25 each that made our bill 655.00. When they were through they asked for 890.00. When we asked for what they could not give us a clear answer he just kept saying over and over it was an estimate. They couldn't tell us what the other exceptions were. It certainly wasn't distance we moved less than 5 miles. They just kept talking real fast and getting more upset. They were saying something about beds. But in their extras the only mention of a bed is a king size bed. We didn't have any. Don't use they are a bait and switch company. Very dishonest. I am going to answer to your sorry excuse of a reply. First off my mother is 88 years old and gets confused very easily I made the order. I am the one that should have been told and trust me if you would have told me it was going to be nearly $900 you would have never got the job. I would have sent you on your merry way. Second off, I can read very well. Your exception list states washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, safes, China Cabinets, ellipticals, pool tables, gun safes, pianos, tempurpedic/king size mattress, glass, marble, granite and aquariums. The only things we had on this list were a curio cabinet and 2 small safes. Nothing else. You list right on your estimate sheet what the exceptions are. We had 3 of them no more. You are dishonest. Even your worker who's English is not that good couldn't give me a straight answer on what all the extra money was for and it certainly wasn't listed on your estimate sheet. Even your final receipt doesn't list what the additional charges are for. I can't even read what the $180 on the receipt is for it's illegible. I told your worker when he left to have you call me but you didn't. Now you want to speak because of my review. I stand by every word of my review. If you have way more extras they should be listed on your estimate sheet like your others are. $655.00 was a fair price for the move and that's all you deserved.

  We appreciate your feed back but we strongly recommend you read and understand the fine print sent to your email. You were given an estimate based on the information you provided which was not accurate. On the fine print sent to your email, it clearly says $25 or more depending on the item.Items subject to extra charges were listed on the estimate sent to you but you chose not to acknowledge it. Your(mom) representative was told about the additional charges before the move started. We were given a go ahead to proceed with your move. You were still given a deduction of $70 from the total bill. Moving a house and another apartment to one single apartment was done in a timely manner.

  These guys did an amazing job moving me out of my 2 bed room apartment.They were efficient and caused no damages to any of my things I would highly recommend them.

  I would like to thank Get Moving for helping me out of a bind. The moving company I had booked before Get Moving was unable to keep my appointment. I called Get Moving and they were able to fit me in within two days. Thanks so much for saving the day.
