  this is Anita's husband Steve posting this review. They built our carport last week 4-29-20, and when they finished, the front posts (closest to the house) were 5' 3" tall from the top of the cement driveway to the top of the post. Should have been 6' minimum I would think. The back ones are 6'6" tall. When we asked them about it, they said "we asked your wife if the driveway was level". They meant on an upgrade or downgrade." She of course thought they meant if there were bumps and unlevel spots in the driveway. I feel they should have been more specific about "level", like do you live on a hill ? The installer cut 9" off the front posts and charged us an extra $125.00. I feel they could and should come out here and jack it up and put six foot posts on the front so people that walk under it don't have to almost lay across the front of the car to get past it. So far, all we are getting is excuses about why it is our fault that the front of the carport is 5' 3" tall. We paid them in full for it. I am getting the impression that now that they have been paid and the job is complete, whether right or not, they are finished with us. I guess people just don't care about their workmanship or quality of their work anymore. Just "give me the money" and you're on your own. They also left a bunch of trash like wrappings and banding laying around for my wife to have to clean up. Left metal shavings all over the driveway for people and my dogs to track into the house. Is it too much for these people to buy a box of trash bags at the store and put all their trash in it after they finish a job? I think the carport is really good looking and serves our purpose, but it's just too short on the front end and I sure wish they would make it right.

  I feel bad that your not happy with the end product, but you were advised the whole time thru the process , that carport has to be on flat level ground. also you called me and ask if they charge you for cutting legs on carports and i told you again yes they do. Its wrong for you to blame our company for You not knowing or understanding what was said to you many times. I quote when I mentioned it has to be set on flat level ground. you told me you thought that meant no flat lumpy bumpys ?????? I explain to all of our customers that prices change if they have to change something other than stock. you signed the paperwork as well. I dont hide anything. I will do anything for any of our customers. But i will Not Be talked bad about when its not our fault. OUR CUSTOMERS have given us a great reputation. I am truly sorry you were not happy.
