  This moving company pretends to care about you and your belongings until they have your money in their wallet after pick-up and all your belongings in their possession. Communication after pick-up was non-existent. They were unable to inform us where our belongings were over the month that they had them. The delivery date was pushed back multiple times. When the truck finally arrived, the driver claimed he was unable to pull into the parking lot, despite it being accessed by 18-wheelers multiple times before. They continued to try to add charges for switching trucks, stair steps, and the distance they would have to carry belongings due to their driver’s inability to do his job. Upon delivery, we find missing half of a recliner, two flat screen TVs, our dining room table legs, a crate of weight bench weights, and half of a shoe organizer shelf. A table leg was broken off of a coffee table, a guitar damages, and every piece of wood furniture we had moved is covered in multiple scratches, gouges, cracks, and some holes. Our boxes, which were brand new, looked as if they had been run over multiple times. 50% of our dishes were broken despite being meticulously and cautiously packed and padded. Days after reporting our items missing, we were told they were in a truck halfway across the country. They failed to provide us photographic evidence that they had our belongings, and have still not given any specific time of when those will be delivered. They are well beyond their 14 day delivery period. Their customer service skills are terrible. We were interrupted by their representatives multiple times over the phone when explaining what was missing. They dispatch regularly fails to answer phones and refuses to allow us to speak to the general manager regarding our outrageous experience. I will NEVER use this company again, and if you care about your belongings I highly suggest you don’t either.

  At Green Van Lines, we strive for perfection but are not perfect. The human touch is what makes your move a personal and smooth experience, but it also means we are capable of error. We try to take every necessary measure to protect your belongings and handle them with care. The truth of the matter however, is that belongings are sometimes subject to loss or damage as well as other unforeseen circumstances during the handling or transportation process. While during other times, delays can occur for various reasons that may put us behind schedule. Despite our best efforts to minimize the occurrence of such instances, this is the nature and reality of our industry and we will inevitably encounter mistakes from time to time. We are sorry to see that you had some issues with your recent move with our company. We pride ourselves on doing our best for every customer, but there are times when things do not go as planned, and we regret that this was one of those.   Green Van Lines and his team did a wonderful job moving our 1 BR apartment over a 40-mile distance with ~50 boxes and several large pieces of furniture. They were careful, thorough, and diligent. It was our first time using professional movers and it made our day so much easier and less stressful. We would recommend this company and use them again, the process was transparent and they were kind people to work with. It is clear they take their work seriously and do so with integrity. Thank you!

  Surprised by all the 5 star ratings as we had a terrible experience with Green Van Lines. Sales process and assessment was very slick and gave us comfort we were in safe hands (despite being more expensive than other quotes), but the quality of the full service pack/unpack was terrible. No inventory documented for a cross country move, so the quote could not be accurately adjusted, furniture assembled incorrectly, bolts missing, items not assembled at all, belongings just dumped without care in the wrong rooms (even a glass lightbulb removed from a lamp and left in children’s clothing.) Very little care packing kitchen knives.. the list goes on. The most frustrating was I waited before reviewing, and spent ages drafting a long email with all the complaints and pictures for the management’s attention. After chasing for a response I got three lines saying they had a staff meeting and some interesting discussion about our move and some training takeaways. That was it.. a further email request for feedback or resolution was totally ignored. Once they have your money they really don’t care. I would not recommend this company. Moving is stressful enough and you shouldn’t be assembling and packing days after a “full service” move.
