  Beware, Stay Away from these Crooks. Used Griffin last month to do an out of state move; They hired a 3rd party to do the move and those movers did great. I recommended Griffin to my father and their employees ruined his wood floors then refused to take responsibility. Unethical, crooks; Once they have your money they will disappear. We will be reporting them to the BBB. You have been warned. Their response below shows what kind of company they are... Instead of admitting their mistake their are trying to back out of responsibility. 100% used a third party for my move (they moved my stuff in a uhaul...) and 100% scratched my dads floor. Garbage company.

  We do not subcontract moves out to third parties. We are an interstate agent for Allied Van Lines and North American Van Lines(They are jointly owned by Sirva ) Mr. Friedman is incorrect in that regard. There were some minor scratches on his father's floor that were reported after we had left the residence. Our crew had done a walkthrough with the customer before they left as is our policy. No damage was reported at that time. If the floors were "ruined" as is claimed it should have been obvious for all to see. Our insurance company denied the claimed damage as it was not reported until after the crew had left. There were also other service personnel working in the residence while we were there so it is possible that the scratches were their responsibility. We behaved ethically and legally in this regard.

  I was very nervous about picking a moving company remotely to move items from Davie to here in Dallas. I spoke with a few companies and thankfully chose Jack and Griffin moving. From beginning to end it was a great experience. They arrived during the expected window on both ends, packed my valuables, disassembled and wrapped my furniture expertly and efficiently. They just left after reassembling my furniture, placing everything where I wanted and removed the boxes that they unwrapped. I highly recommend them for your out of state move. Thank you Jack :)

  The movers showed up and refuse to wear face mask in the building. The attacked the client and property manager and walked out. The company manager did not apologize on behalf of the employees and indicated that they were the best he had. Did not offer any options,

  This is an outright lie. No one was attacked. I am the owner of the company. The security personnel and the manager of the building were rude and condescending to our crew when they first arrived. The manager who filed this review is not the customer. He verbally threatened me over the phone as I was trying to resolve the situation. He could not understand that while I have never met him but I have worked with the crew in question for well over 8 years and they never had a previous problem like this, that I would not immediately accept blame and apologize. Our crew was instructed to leave by me as we do not tolerate that behavior. They work hard. They represent our company which is one of the most well respected moving companies in South Florida. I'll stand by my employees and defend them against a petty little man with an ego problem every time.
