    Found Handled With Care on the internet!!!! David Oster is the owner came to my house on Saturday January 23 2021 after I sent him pictures of what I needed done. He gave me A ball park estimate of 200 boxes said he could be at my home next Fri Jan 29,2021 and the 30th to start packing. He never sent a formal contract with what the cost would be anyone that’s in the moving business should have an idea and be able to provide you with a contract and state that it could be more or less have me an estimated cost. I was emailed on Tuesday a contract for 1500.00 which he said was for the Deposit. He came out on Wednesday to bring boxes which he charged me $150.00 out side of his deposit. I questioned him about the travel time priced at $162.00 per day I told him that was his cost of doing business he argued that he comes from Greensboro ya da ya da ( btw he has a Tahoe that has some type of fluid leaking all over the driveway. I paid him $1500 in cash asked him 3 or 4 times for a receipt which I never received he said this is your receipt the so-called contract. He and his crew showed up 8:45 on the 29th brought their coffee and breakfast with them to eat before they started I was asked to give them a tour of what I wanted done and I did so. He has 2 really great employees maybe 3 they worked maybe 5 hrs this includes the pizza hour they had was gone by 2:30. I noticed after they left they had left me their trash of cups sitting on my furniture and pizza box out And the garage on the few packed boxes. They returned again at 8:45 on the 30th with breakfast again 2 of the same employees and a lady that I hadn’t seen before, however she worked really good. Around 3:00 to 3:30 David made his way downstairs where I was with my family. He had a Piece of cardboard in his hand and stated they were done. He asked me for a check or cash I responded have you finished all and he stated no! they had to come back. I asked him how many boxes were in my garage he didn’t know I asked if they had taken things off of my coffee table and off of my two end tables and he stated no they had not. I then told him then that he was not coming back that I wanted him to get his stuff and his people and get out of my houseI asked my daughter to do the math make the proper deductions also he had broken the handle off one of my large vases that I’ve had for several years I charged him $25 for breaking that. He does not offer any liability insurance nor does he tell you if he has any or not!!!! he’s over priced uses boxes over and over again he does not have new boxes his excuse for wanting money is he hast to buy supplies, I understand making payroll but not on Saturday. I do not recommend the shyster he has left my house in a mess I am making pictures if there was any way for me to post pictures I would. be more than happy to show you all how David Oster with Handled With Care moving and storage really treats your property also went out in my garage without asking opened a case paper towels that I did not give him permission to use. Do Not Use This Novice want to be Mover!!! He owes me for the paper towels is how I feel I’m not finished but I will 🛑 waste of money privacy and time

My whole crew was dumbfounded when you became so disgruntled at the end of that day when you said everything was going fine up till I asked to be paid for the work completed. We took extra measures to make sure we did our job to your satisfaction! We all cleaned up after ourselves before we left your home. The pack material and boxes that I delivered to you prior to your move date you did not use so I deducted all of them! I am still upset that you feel the way your review implies. All aspects of the job were discussed before we entered into the contract. Please accept my apology 4 whatever it was that changed your attitude towards us so suddenly.

    Please do not use this company! I wish now that I had use the company that I was told to call . It started when I contact this company and spoke with David Oaster . Then he came out to my residence for an estimate. He told me the guys that was going to do the job was great and that I would like them and everything was going to be ok. Long story short I relocated from Greensboro to Durham for 1200 dollars. The guys came on time but when arrived, the crew chief was arrogant but I tried to over look that. They didn't really have no organization with how things was arrange in the truck. The move was I believe March 28. I had my things delivered to Publix storage in Durham. And just got it out June and the moving company that I hired in Durham was Great! We all notice my computer desk was broken and my tv was was broken . The tv was against the wall unwrapped. David Oaster told me on june 17 2020 that they take there pads off because it was my storage. I didn't have a problem with that BUT his guys should had said something and I would have told them to use something I had! Mr.DMr.David Oaster ask if I left a tip because someone gave a tip of 100 dollars. What the hell does leaving a tip have to do with me?! When I paid 1200!! And if it was let's say 3 or more guys working 100 is nothing that lunch money!
